You sexyGreekRoman cock tease!!!
I get that, I’m not confused. But one would presume that has been factored in already. I don’t think we brought in those players on loans with an obligation to buy in the hope we’d have CL money to pay for them.
I’ll say again I believe we have plenty of money to spend in transfers we just choose not to. The whole narrative about CL money is just to excuse the lack of spending which is amusing as even with CL money in tge past we have failed to make the necessary investments in the team.

I love the fact if I ever see a wrestling meme, it’ll be you @easley91. It always makes me smile and they always work. Bravo, sir xI've worked it out..
Well I've woken up feeling a bit seedy, good night out last night with missus though and even ended up with me having a fumble so all in all pretty good. What about you?
It was nice while it lastedNagelsmann has been sounded out and is keen.
Now down to Levy to come to an agreement re budget, salary etc....
That's my educated opinion on the matter.
Hope he'd come in sooner rather than later.Nagelsmann has been sounded out and is keen.

I agree that the squad lacked depth, but I'm unsure how that relates to my previous post.
You can give Levy a lot of shit but two of our last three managers have "earnt" ten figures per year. He definitely doesn't scrimp on this.It was nice while it lasted
welcome Slaven Bilic

His salary shouldn't be a problem. Nagelsmann was reportedly on 8 million euro per yer at Bayern, Conte makes over 15 million at Spurs.Nagelsmann has been sounded out and is keen.

Agree with everything you say history has taught me though that even when we get CL.... we don't push on and buy real quality to keep us there.... we not a broke club.... we not a small club like Brighton or Brentford ( stadium wise)... so getting CL football doesn't get me excited. We always prudent behaving like the world will end if we spend money. This is how the club described it:
"Stricter control of our cost base, increased commercial and sponsorship revenues and consistent European qualification are key to our ability to continue First Team investment and stay competitive."
There is a massive difference between even Europa League and CL.
Given that we have £80M worth of players to purchase before we even add a single player - and we are going to be much more focused on selling than we are buying.
And when you consider that we should be looking to add starting CBs, GK, and potentially a CM/AM - you are looking at £100-150M worth of new players - on top of the £80M we have to commit to Deki and Porro. That is asking a lot of a club that is historically very conservative in the transfer window.
CL qualification this season is significant for us - as are getting decent prices for Lo Celso, Ndombele, Sanchez, et al. We will not be Abel to afford to send all the deadwood out on loan again - unless we get a new owner/new investor.
That’s what we said when he hired Conte! This our Daniels chance at redemption in the eyes of us fans - come on lets go!
Consistency is key. That’s what we said when he hired Conte!
