Day 7
The housemates think they have seen Jesus.
The housemates think they have seen Jesus.
I was Tuchel but now JNLooking at the poll on here, it would be interesting to know with those who wanted Tuchel, who would you be happy with next instead? Looks like the top three is Poch, Gallardo and Nagelsmann.
I love Poch, but my head tells me Nagelsmann would be the better choice. I've switched my vote to him.
Slot would be a major risk at this stage.
Gallardo and Nagelsman have a bit of longevity as they have proven it in very tough situations and in the very best competitions.
Whereas Slot, who does look very impressive, is doing it in the Dutch league where many have stood out there over the years but flopped elsewhere.
Ten Hag was a clear stand out because he actually had experience at Bayern.
If we choose Slot over Nagelsman then we are completely nuts
I've been avoiding news to get away from all the weird reports about UFOs, only to come on SC and read about shapeshifters.I was Tuchel but now JN
What would worry me though, is with our lot, and a manager that they no longer respect and have zero drive, will the hope of top 4 evaporate immediately? If we could agree a deal for Nagelsmann in the summer I'd prefer we just keep Conte until the end of the season. We've known his contract is ending anyway but he is experienced enough to get on with the job and get us top 4. It would be fun to see him back after all this and sends a message to the players they are not invincible. If everyone knows he's being replaced by Nagelsmann it releases the tension and the whole cloud over what's happening. The players and manager can just get on with it until the summer. It happens more with international teams knowing a manager is going but they still can perform.
Not really. He understood British football culture, the dynamics of the dressing rooms here. Sense of humour, etc. These things do count for something when working in another countries even though the PL is more cosmopolitan now. That's a bit of a stretch to include Jol because he played here
I think they would be determined because top 4 is for them next season to play in the CL. I also don't think it's unrepairable to the extent they would never play for Conte again. Certainly the likes of Hojbjerg and Kulusevski haven't made it seem like they wouldn't play for him. He just needs to explain himself and apologise so we can move on. I think if the players know he is gone soon it won't matter so much. What would worry me though, is with our lot, and a manager that they no longer respect and have zero drive, will the hope of top 4 evaporate immediately?
Wouldnt be as bad as some make out. Done fantastically well for lazio and he hasnt really flopped anywhere since before Napoli. Wouldnt be my choice tho.Sarri being mentioned today
I hoping for a Herr we go.
I thought the poll was fixed to make it so you could change your answers but I haven't been able to.Looking at the poll on here, it would be interesting to know with those who wanted Tuchel, who would you be happy with next instead? Looks like the top three is Poch, Gallardo and Nagelsmann.
My favourite announcement everSarri being mentioned today
Media-mixed, Media-made.The merry go round of Poch, Tuchel, Nagelsmann, De Zerbie, Enrique and Slot is very similar to the new manager hunt of 2021. Given how that ended this will only conclude one way:
What would worry me though, is with our lot, and a manager that they no longer respect and have zero drive, will the hope of top 4 evaporate immediately?
