Heard it done was around 5pm. I posted back of house but it's still 100% not signed sealed and delivered until it is, everything agreed though. Hincapie, fingers crossed tomorrow.
Update I had earlier suggested we are genuinely confident we can strike a deal for Hincapie and it isn't just last minute gossip to appease fans and say "we tried". Would be a fantastic January if we could get that over the line also.

The problem is now, IF we manage to get the deal over the line, fans will be that relieved that we managed to bring him in that we will forget everything else briefly and see the window as a success. Even IF we manage to bring him in, we are still 2 short of what we needed to do in Jan.
credit where it is due mate, I don't think he's played this one wrong at all. He's stayed out of it(like we've all been asking) and when it's looked like it's gone, he's come in and got it done. Does this mean I've changed my mind on him? No, but for whatever reason people want to believe, he's not fucked about when he's been required to get it over the line.

Pedro Porro closed at Tottenham. Travels to London today to sign a contract. Sporting receives 45 M € and secures another 15% of Marcus Edwards' pass. Spurs will still be responsible for paying the % of the solidarity mechanism

Yes can't disagree with you here ??

Now let's hope he can get Hincapie over the line to make this a very decent Jan window ??

I've been posting about our interest since last April/May, and I've been hearing and posting his name consistently since. It's never been last minute gossip. Whether it gets done is another story though.

A statement which only comes from those who've decided how this transfer has played out regardless of the (more recently) presented facts. By all accounts the intermediaries have been pissing around with it all, and Levy's swooped in and fixed it.

Doesn't fit the narrative very well though.

Mr P I expect better from you. :(

Its not about the narrative for me.

And it might well be Sporting's fault but leaving it this late to conclude deals, like we so often do, is a high risk strategy.

I'm not flying off the deep end about what one transfer, but there's a clear pattern to how we go about negotiating certain deals.

I think Levy knew he couldn’t afford to let this slip. Not just for the good of the team but to try and stem the growing hostility.

One day - maybe in 20 years - we’ll get the lowdown on the politics of transfer deals akin to a freedom of information act… I’m sure it’ll make interesting reading… this deal will feature..

It’s good that he didn’t get involved until needed but it would still have been his strict financial parameter instructions at the start which meant that this dragged on for weeks when it could have been done much earlier, right?
