Only 24, 6’3 (190 cm) from Austria playing for Lens who have one of the best defense in Europe. Dubbed the best defender of Lique 1. The highest rated defender in Lique 1 too according to whoscored.

Transfer market shows him as right footed though. They are pretty accurate but the others are all lcb.

He looks very good, however in this clip his positioning is mostly rcb/central, and passes/shoots using his right foot only.

Interesting! He spent a season at Southampton a couple of years back if I’m not mistaken. Barely played. Seems to have developed since.
Danso is a right footer, Lens LCB Facundo Medina also have very good numbers and is about the same age. Contract expiring 2024.
But would be vary that Lens is very well managed and might be better than the sum of it’s parts. Interesting players to look out for nonetheless.

It's for this window. We are, and have been talking for a while. Player is keen and Leverkusen are open to the sale.
Obviously price and Leverkusen finding an alt is key to this.

Be amazed if they accepted 25 mil especially after saying public he wasn't available this window. Not sure how much he will actually help us now and I would have much preferred Bastoni but at least we are looking to straighten.

I wouldn't worry too much about the prices being banded around. Everyone has a motive for leaking fee's and they are rarely true until the deal is ready for conclusion.
