It’s why Conte said ‘we’ll need 3 or 4 more TW’s. He’s brought in some quality already to go with Son and Kane. It’s no surprise the mess our squad has been in since before the CL final. We have made progress. Lots more to do. But if we stick with Conte, I have no doubt we will get it right. I just hope some of our weirdly entitled fans don’t ‘get’ to the board and start calling for change.

We have Kane, one of the best strikers in the club history and we continually set up the team/system where we are unable to create any chances for him. Match after match after match.....

I am more than prepared to cut them some slack today after the heroics in Marseille, and with all of the injuries. It was always going to be difficult today. But that goodwill goes out of the fucking window when we do such stupid things and beat ourselves. The usuals lifeless start where we just wait to concede, then play ourselves back into it, before fucking ourselves over with a ridiculous mistake. Roll on the World Cup

What do you want him to do? Dier can’t defend in a 3 let alone a 2. His hands are tied. He needs time and we need to continue the work we start in the summer in changing the squad.

it’s pretty simple in all honesty. Frustrating as hell sure but that’s where we are.

You need to replace the core of the team with players with some balls. Lloris, Dier and others need to go

Some shit defending and bad luck today, I don't like the formation or player selection but we actually played some decent footy at times.

Dier is a monkey. He is always telling others what to do when he can't do his own defensive duties properly. So we have dumb and dumber the last time round with Royal and Sanchez and now we have the dumbest - Dire.

I also think the fans there today need to quit with the boos. This is not what Conte would have wanted to play, but we have no forwards. Liverpool have not been light years ahead of us. They have been the beneficiary of some absolutely shocking defending. I'd probably go so far as to say we need to get Sanchez on to combat Nunez and bench one of Dier or Lenglet.

Emerson isn't the issue today either. I mean he could be more of a threat, but Doherty isn't going to make a massive difference.

I reckon we'd be bossing Liverpool with a a few more available.

Opening 10 minutes aside, I think we've had the better of them.

But...but like all too often. Got to give the opposition a helping hand for some bizarre reason unbeknownst to little old me.

I totally agree. We have the players for 433 or 4123. It's frustrating. The absolute cracker is 44th minute Elliot picks up the ball in midfield and has loads of time to line his shot up ... We have 3 DMs on the pitch and not 1 got to him. Players are getting in each others way
