Stadium is like a morgue

Seen some of our ticket prices and the level of football we serve up at times?

I’m genuinely impressed that a lot of fans turn up week in week out and spending £100’s. I get annoyed just watching it on Tv.

Clearly well in the game at 0-1 but it’s clusterfuck moments like Dier’s that sap the energy and life out of the players and stadium.

Only way to remedy this is a quick start and/or early goal but if this just ambles on till 70 mins then might as well just haul off the likes of Bentancur and keep Kulusevski ready for next game because it’ll just peter out

I think we will win this stil 3-2. Just something about this will make this a game good and proper. Conte has this. I still dont like us just sitting back from the start aand only playing when the opposition score.

1-0 would have been better going in but 2-0 just makes this even sweeter when we win

Sick of the same old players costing us in the big games with stupid mistakes. We go in 1-0 down and we’re in with a good chance of coming back. So frustrating ?‍♂️

Fuck being defensive. Is useless we will still leak goals. Just put Kulu and Gil on already. At least lose with some dignity and make the stadium louder. It's so fucking quiet I can even hear the crowd cursing on TV.

Yes and no. I’m a big conte fan but think he’s really got it wrong tonight. 3-5-2 means not exploring their weaknesses at full back. Sure son and richy out but I would’ve gone with Gil and Perisic either side of kane and threatened them in behind a bit. Then Lucas and Kulu off the bench 2nd half.

3-5-2 has just given them the game
Nothing to do with the formation. It is about how that formation is pressing and NOT pressing, We have 3 people in midfield yet noone wants the ball. it is all about the mentality and how they players in that formation are ALLOWED to play.

I’ll say it until I’m blue in the face but this idiocy of defenders always looking to keep possession by passing back to the goalkeeper has got to stop. A Defenders job is to clear the danger from your final third. That was a simple header back up field.

Let's also be fair, add Son, Richarlison, Romero and Kulusevski to this XI and it is a totally different game.

And then take Konate, Salah, Nunez and Firminio out of theirs and we'd be spanking them.

Dier main culprit for me. We’re sat right behind them and he’s too busy telling Emerson what to do while ignoring his own man.

Bring on Kulusevski and Moura and the latter has to be told to stretch the defence.

Their defence is their for the taking, just need players that can attack space.

We were actually playing quite well since going a goal down Then Dier under absolute no pressure undoes all the hard work and basically totally fucks us. Our whole back line bar Romero needs upgrading a

We make it so easy for other teams. So poor. Give the ball away around the penalty box more than any other side.
This is the thing though. People are bashing Conte for this kind of thing but his Inter team were superb at playing around it.

But we don't have Handanovic, Hakimi, Skriniar and Bastoni

That is just so symptomatic of where we are as a team defensively. Despite an obvious lack of attacking quality in the line up, we were making a pretty decent fist of it after their goal.

Then Dier does that. And fucks away everyone else’s hard work.

If it’s not Dier, it’s Davies. If not him, it’s Hugo. If not Hugo it’s Sanchez. The same old faces that we decided not to upgrade in the summer.

If you ever needed evidence that the fault lies more with the players than with the manager then you've just been given it
I dont think that's fair at all. The complaints are about performances and tactics. It's not like we are chucking goals in every week.

We're consistently poor in the first half and we consistently give the opposition the freedom of the pitch. We concede the ball, the territory and the momentum and put ourselves up against it.

Players making mistakes is something very, very different in my opinion.

In the game until Diers horrendous mistake, need to change the formation and some personell for the second half, but very limited resources on the bench.

The performance doesn't surprise me with the players we have out there, but Dier has most likely killed the game for us. Had we held it at 1-0 until Kulusevski and Lucas were able to come on I think we could have made seen some fortune.

Have to say Sessegnon's softness on the ball is so frustrating to watch.

Sessengon is a championship player in his head
