Wonder if we will see Perisic on at some point. Sess doing well but he’s been booked.

Came on really strong in the end, disappointed not to go in with 3.

Sess lots faster and stronger. Royal looks better too. Wanna see Perisic and Bissouma.

The fact we can now bring on 5 subs and each one of a good quality will help us massively, especially with the intensity/openness of this game

Kulusevski has got some first touch on him. Always seems to control it no matter how bad the pass into him is.

I'm hoping our fitness begins to show second half. Just can't concede an early goal and give them hope

Take off Kulu bring on Perisic as CAM, 3-5-2 Son Kane upfront Sess Spence on wings
Kulu has been our best player I'd argue, maybe after Davies, I'd tell sess to go for it for 15-20 then bring on perisic (esp with sess on a yellow)

Dier really could score more goals. Seems decent around the box and i would like him to push on more when we have plenty of cover about

Very much early season fare here. Across the park from both teams it's very sloppy and teams aren't optimal in terms of pressing etc. allowing time on the ball so it's pretty open and loose.

We've ended that half though gradually establishing superiority and looking the better outfit. We've got to kick on though and click in the final third and kill the game, because you'd imagine errors will continue all round and Southampton will continue to have moments themselves.
