If Arsenal are genuinely going for all these central midfielders, they are a bit stupid and I'm even less worried about them than I was before.

They won't. They haven't got 60 million euros to spend on a player. They are refusing to pay £20m for tielemans, wouldn't get involved in the bidding for Raphinha once it got over £50m, won't match man u's bid for martinez and are looking at another left back that is a budget option etc.
Oh yeah, and cant shift any of their very shit dead wood. I suspect they cant make any other significant purchases until this changes.

I read this as we're moving for players as our rivals are progressing deals but in isolation I guess it's just saying people are panicking in here (which I really don't think is happening TBF).
I don't think that's what Herc meant by that. I think it's more on the lines of just because arsenal are linked to paqueta doesn't change or affect our business in anyway. If they get him then they get him, our targets are still our targets.
Essentially ignore whoever our rivals are chasing, our business will remain as it should and there's no point in panicking about it.

agree with this. Hercs alluding to the fact that we may have already been pursuing said targets but to be linked (as presumably will happen) following interest or links from the scum may look like we’re in panic mode when he’s been on the list all along

I've only seen Lyon twice this season, against the hammers, and the only player I thought looked promising was the right back, with the long hair.
Paqueta might of been having a couple of off days, or maybe my talent ID is shyte (really wanted Podence after we played that Greek team).
Saying that Gimares looks good, and if Paqueta was better than him, he might be a player.

Hagn is literally an arsenal supporting punter who claims to be a journo. I believe he was reporting Vlahovic was having a medical at Arsenal in Jan, and that Raphinha was basically a done deal. He literally makes stuff up

Yeah because another attacking midfielder is just what they need. Let them sign him, they still need another 6/7 top additions to even get close to where we are.
