I hope so. Firstly because I want him to be around and secondly because, if he's not after what he said to Richarlison, he'll look like a right plum.
Absolute shithouse on the pitch but seems like a good bloke off it from what I've seen and read over the last few days.

I get that Emerson Royal seems like a lovely bloke and great character, but for me this is clouding some fans judgement.
He really needs to be replaced and moved on, he’s not what we need and especially not in a wing back system.
Great guy, average player.

I still think he has a role to play here.
He’s fantastic defensively and was integral to the results we got against Liverpool & City.
It was also his first season in English football so I’d expect him to kick on next season.
If he doesn’t, then look to move him on next year.

Very happy to sign him, was concerned when it sounded like things wouldn't get pushed for him to be on the pre-season tour but I have to say very impressed by Paratici to get all of these deals done before we jet off to Korea. I can't find the words to do it justice tbh!
