It's mental to me how so many can feel so strongly about what amount of money the club spends on Richarlison.

Clearly Conte rates him, and I'm just happy it seems like the club do what it takes to back him. If that's spending 60 millions on Richarlison then great.

I'm sure Levy/Conte/FB have control.
Whats the point in this argument? Conte likes him so.... Does that mean we cant discuss the player? We have finite resources so some of us ask whether its wise to splash so much on player x, y or z... Thats why

And yes Conte likes him, but those same people still probably have problems with Clement "but hes been dog poo for 2 years" Lenglet despite Conte liking him.

One thing about the Matt law article yesterday was that Tuchel wanted 1v1 attackers (presume he means players who can beat their man) and I don’t think richarlison is that type of player

Calm down you bunch of walnut ball sacks.

If he doesn’t come to us, fuck him. There’ll be an alternative. And if he does come, then so be it, he chose us because he saw something in what the club offers.

Either way, stop being a veiny cock wattle and enjoy the ride

You can discuss whatever you want. His potential price tag is not "discussing the player" though, but you are free to discsuss that as well.

When it comes to our finite resources I'm confident Levy/FB/Conte has a plan for various targets and positions based on priority. If they believe 60 millions for Rich is the best use of our funds then I trust them.

I think the discussion is fair play - but you can't leave out the context that we have a DOF who understands the financial parameters, and who is working diligently to get the required pieces in place, within that budget.

This is not a case of the club v. Conte - where there is a fear the club will get some players in, but not all, due to budgetary constraints by overspending in one position.

This looks and feel like Paratici has a huge board with various pieces that could fit - depending on the other pieces. Meaning - Paratici is juggling the financials so that he can still fill all positions within the allotted budget.

In the end, I trust Paratici's process. He has delivered Romero, Deki, and Bentencur, without breaking the bank. I am confident, the players he does get in, at whatever price, will fit what Conte is looking for at each position. And, I am sure he is talking to Conte about "If we go for player X at forward, that means we can only afford player C at CB, or we can get player A at CB, but can then only get player Z at Forward. What is your preference?"

If you search the internet for "Everton points deduction" there some reports that there is no chance of that happening , maybe tomorrow is not deadline day after all for the transfer of Richarlison.
This seems a good write up of the situation:
Basically, Everton are financially OK. They aren't going bust or anything - provided the owners keep propping the club up financially which looks likely.
The issue is FFP and acceptable covid losses. Everton fail FFP and have used write-downs associated with Covid to get within the acceptable losses rules specific for covid.
Everton say they are fully compliant with the rules, two other clubs have put letters in challenging this.
It comes down to how confident Everton are that they are DEFINITELY within FFP rules and have used acceptable Covid losses correctly.
If they are right, and know it - they don't have to do anything.
If there is even the faintest hint that they might have 'bent' the rules a bit too far in posting losses due to Covid - if they sell a player with a low book value, that posted profit gives them leeway meaning when audited it gives then sufficient wriggle room to stay within the rules no matter what.

Thank you for your service sir, the delicacy of these grown men over a transfer they have no control over is tiresome.

Are people actually freaking out because Chelsea seem to be missing out on Raphinha? Has there been a single bit of info saying Chelsea are coming back in for him? Or is this just people doing 2 + 2. = 1004
