I would have preferred Raphinha, and I don't think he's worth the reported fee, but he's a good player. I just hope he cuts out his embarrassing antics on the pitch.

All about conte’s wants for me …
Can see Richarlison in a spurs shirt. Prefer him to Raph…. Offers a broader range skill set … (don’t care what he costs, cos I’m not in charge of finances)

Watching some highlights and I don’t think I had appreciated how good he is with his head which we could do with and strong on both feet

Partially agree although refs seem to be getting wise to it. Bit like Royal, if he focuses more on the game that’s where he can lift his performances even higher. I don’t think you have many Elite players who consistently do this type of thing (they have the odd moment & obviously some are very “rolly” but the best don’t seem to get this stuck on them).
Would be great if he learns to be a “clever c***” and is more strategic when he does stuff. I hope Conte would help him with that.

He’ll be an asset in the champions league. The refs there fall for it every time a player falls over. Now if we only had someone decent to take free kicks!

Of the two Brazilians I'm sure Conte will have wanted Richarlison more, that's the main thing really.

I was concerned Chelsea would go for him to replace Lukaku but seems we've gone hard for this one and they've gone for Raphinha instead.

I think he will be great in Conte's system of wingbacks and wide players putting the ball in the box for players to attack.

Its all horses for courses, but I think Richarlison is the best fit for us - from amongst the Brazilians. Raphinha could be a great fit at Chelsea and Jesus could be a good fit for Arsenal. But, I am hopeful we get this done this week.

When you look at the 3 Brazilians - in a weird sort of way, the players traits represents the managers they are going to play for...

Richarlison-Conte : Hard working & Never giving up
Raphinha-Tuchel : Flair & Technique
Jesus-Arteta : Shy & shirk responsibility

Doesn’t matter which one it is, I’m always hard for a Brazilian.

Oh wai..

Thought I’d check out the Everton forum on richarlison.
They’re gutted they’re losing him, they love him and feel the 60m is a joke. They think he’s worth at least 80m.
They are arguing about who is better out richarlison or raphinha

Yeah they're largely really positive about him. They love his work-rate and feel his effort in the run-in is a huge part of why they stayed up. At the start of the window many were saying they shouldn't sell for less than 75-80m.

Seen a few slightly more critical comments about his limitations, but for the most part they're gutted to see him go which is a good sign.

Similar stats to Mane's last season at Southampton. He doesn't have his insane pace, but he will be a good signing and help a lot with his pressing.

If we were to rest Kane or god forbid he got injured, what do we think it'll be Son on the left and Richarlison in the middle or vice versa?
