Wasn't Jiggins an absolute scumbag over AVB?

I remember being more than behind a movement to get Spurs to ban him from the ground. Just can't remember why as it was so long ago.

He was shown up by AVB in a press conference, so led with a 'SPURS IN TURMOIL' headline on the morning before we played at Old Trafford, knowing full well we'd not won there in over 20 years, that we'd most likely lose again and that he could run story after story about how we were in such disarray under AVB on the back of that.

We won 3-2.

And Jiggins had to fuck off to the rock from under where he'd crawled and, then, once he was there, had to fuck off some more.

TOTTENHAM’S swoop for Porto ace Luis Diaz is stuck in limbo due to a furious agents’ storm.

The clubs have agreed the transfer of the Colombian winger for £40million plus £8m in add-ons.

But the star’s two representatives — who are based in Europe and South America — are refusing to sign off the deal because of the way super-agent Jorge Mendes has become embroiled in the move.

Diaz’s advisors are adamant the deal will not be completed if Mendes plays any part in their player’s affairs.

Without their approval, the switch cannot be completed.

Tottenham are desperate to make Diaz, 25, their first signing of the transfer window.

This story is on the back page of tomorrow's The Sun

Certainly a new excuse for us to trot out with at the window!

Funny how these things only seem to happen in transfers involving us!

Ah yes the game with our very first Vertonghen superman celebration, I believe.

Fair play that’s a decent amount. Please accept Porto. Surely they can’t turn that down! Please just this once let’s complete one of these deals.

Same journo who called Ronaldo to City confirmed and seems to have a few other suspect 'announcements' in his past too. Seen others say he's fairly reliable though, but safe to say worth waiting for Sepulveda, Romano or a Spurs Journo to report before getting too giddy.

60m is insane money for Portuguese teams. Especially one's who are in financial difficulty.

I don't think they'll be able to get much more than that.

Hopefully, we get a swift response and can move on if need be.
