No way is he leaving to join us midseason.
If ITK is spot on then he turned us/Levy down in summer so why would he leave mid season as you say.

Let’s not delude ourselves, we are a massive mess.

HOWEVER, 2 things.
1) money talks
2) he isn’t getting a top 4 job anytime soon so if he wants to move to a PL club with better players and infrastructure and bigger budget and build something then we would be a fairly attractive option for him

Surprised? Christ man, just make an account on here. Will take all of 5 minutes to read the crowd. You'll also get some insight in to A&C's bowel movements, gardening tips and a nice thread to post about things that are grinding your gears.
You forgot the (quite frankly concerning) Guilty Pleasures thread.

Tottenham not only ruined my Saturday with that eye gougingly horrific performance but they've now ruined my Sunday coz I'm scouring the Internet all day for news on Nuno.

I wish I didn't care. Fuck you Tottenham.
Suggest reading the disconnected thread. Should help move things along for you.

Have to admit I’m shitting it about the next manager appointment. Levy has to get this right. The names being linked are getting me worried, if true, it’s like he still doesn’t get it.
Same here.

We can't get another Portugese manager, sorry. Not Conceicao and not Fonseca. They're simply not right for us.

Utterly dense and comical from Levy and Paratici to get Fonseca now, although Amazon would be feeling so hard-done that we could usurp our own script from last season to be so much more dramatic this season.
Maybe they should it a seasonal thing for us. Will never run out of material.

Potter would be amazing.

Its unlikely mid season. And Levy would most likely need to make big assurances to him...would really doubt it but one can dream.

Potter has no interest in working with Levy that is what he said when we went for him earlier.

If Nuno doesn't leave now then the one man to blame will be Fabio Paratici. He seems to be the one person at the club who wanted Nuno to start with and then has been fighting he corner against all the criticism in the past month or so.

It’s not pointless for me to be honest. Going to the game to see zero shots on target really isn’t acceptable. If we tread water for season fair enough but fans shouldn’t have to waste their spare time watching this. Even Mason as unqualified as he is fans would at least see some goals and chances. It’s so so boring right now. I’d rather chaotic nonsensical football that at least is entertaining than another 30 games of this tepidness.
I'm with you re the boldened bit, however others would say we have a sense of entitlement as our ticket money guarantees us nothing more than entry to the stadium. I've seen that view expressed on here in the past and they weren't joking.

Potter probably the most logical appointment. Probably means no chance though. If it’s one of those 2 Portuguese options, nothing against them, shows the board and levy just really don’t get it

As much as I want Potter as our new manager there is zero chance we will get him mid season. From all the noise that has come out about him and the rumours we were interested in the summer doesn't seem either that he is keen to work under Danel Levy.

Replace the word “Portuguese” here with Indian, or Nigerian, or Filipino, or Jamaican, and see how that sounds.

Jesus fucking Christ.

Writing off a whole nationality based on the traits of 3 individuals.

There’s a word for that.

It’ll come to me…
How about there's not a single one i'd take for Spurs. If they're in the mix we're fucked again. It's all Mendes.

Bruno Lage at Wolves maybe, but that's a push.

Potter is destined for a big club - his cv is perfect for it - I think it’s now or never for us to get him - the only way he comes is if we properly commit to him - it will need a complete step change in thought process and actions from our Daniel - unlikely unfortunately
