Why did the manager put Emerson Royal at right wing when we took Moura off? Royal was really weak in that position looked totally lost. I would have thought it made more sense to put Dilan Markanday on in that position considering the experience he actually has in that position ? Surely that would have been more beneficial to the side moving forward too, as Markanday could then potentially be an option for us? I hate when mangers play players in a position they can’t play when there are youth options. Opportunities like that are surely one of the things spurring on youth players in the under age teams. Playing right backs as attackers is the sort of decision making that will lead to more of our youth players looking to take their footballing careers elsewhere.
I thought Emerson did well and should start against Chelsea
But agree Markanday is a real talent, and I would have started him and Scarlett in this game
I also think it is wrong Paskotski is not in the squad, as you say we risk losing real talent with our selection policies
We recently lost Makuede sp? which was a big blow, and a real failure on our part

Why werent you guys so informative when we were signing him? Sure he's not been what we thought we were getting but now some of you lot are so wise?
I did say at the time that I was not overwhelmed, took a few brickbats for it too. It's a shame it hasn't turned out well though.

I can understand Kane to be honest.

How can you get motivated for this tournament when your ability should mean you are playing CL football?

We can't say that he shouldn't be turning his nose up at this. I mean, he made his name in the EL and you should move up in your career and closer to titles/elite games....not further away.
He doesn't want to be here anymore and who can blame him, he wants a club that win things which immediately and in the long term rules us out.

I'm sure the manager and players are working towards that plan judging by how bad we are although no top four.
Well this season it's very unlikely. But I fail to see how we can get there if our own fans don't support the rebuild process and criticise literally everything.

I love the term unlikely this year no chance would be appropriate.
As for rebuild come on lesser clubs are doing much better right now with less resources and or players.
This club is just poisoned all the way through and only removing that will the club have a small chance.

Yeah, but he can still shut up and honor his contract.

He shouldn't have been on the plane as I said yesterday. I wanted Scarlett and Markanday to start
To be fair it was a great pass to set up Lucas, but the energy of Scarlett and talent of Markanday could have done just as well as we got from our senior forwards

It's been 4 games, calm down.

We played a mix and match side. Usually we haven't done well in the europa with this tactic.

I'd argue that this was arguably our toughest away fixture in non CL Europe for a while. A point isn't a bad result. Win our home games and beat Mura away, and we are home and hosed.
I'm not talking about this game nor 4 games or the rest of this season, I am talking about months of games and at this moment we need to realize West Ham have overtaken us, tell me they haven't.

I don't think them two are the answer yet again our squad has been left up shit creek by incompetence.

Sadly i agree but sadly f**k all we can do because thats the ambition level of ENIC.
Yep, have predicted 7 - 11, the Cups are the competitions we have a slight chance of winning
And with this very good result, we're still on track to win ECL
Not saying we will, in fact I think we won't but dum spiro spero, ? but not for this season Prem of course
