Losing Foyth, Rose and Gazza gives us a little more money to spend - transfer fee for Foyth, and salaries for Gazza and Rose off the books. Foyth's salary was presumably covered by Villarreal last season.
However only 1 of them (Gazzaniga) frees up a squad space, the other two weren't registered here last season.
Gazza was on loan, so wasn't part of last season squad, practically neither was Rose. Was more looking changes to our actual squad last season vs. this. We've also sold Foyth, but he wasn't part of last season squad either. Didn't count Gedson either as he left early on, though he featured more last season than Rose.

Maybe a couple of outgoings still needed but I must admit, this window has been far above what I was expecting to this point.
I still worry about the lack of a creative CM because Tanguy just does not seem to have the care for the club, to make the effort required in a successful team.
If we could fill his slot, it would be the best window in years for me because the midfield three we've used so far, either fear going for a decent pass consistently or just cannot give what is needed to work well with our front three.
Positives in abundance so far, one more and I'd be forever grateful

1. Doherty is shite
2. Aurier is shite
3. Tanganga wasn't seen as main RB choice until City game
4. Emerson is good
So realisticall what we'll actually have is:
RB (Defensive): Tanganga
RB/RWB (Attacking): Emerson
That leaves Aurier and Doherty either playing ECL / minor cup games or finding new homes today.

Thank you ITKs who have provided us with great info throughout the window, and the mods who have allowed some fun while still keeping things relatively on track. I'm a bit disappointed if we don't get a forward in, but more disappointed in the lack of outs. It really is a testament to how badly we have been run transfer-wise that we can't shift the players who were some of the most prolific signings we made throughout the last few years. Besides squad numbers and finances, it must be really bad for the culture in the club, having so many players just cash in a paycheck.

Think we are done Incomings wise for the window. Love to be proved wrong as still think we are massively short especially up front and AM wise. However it’s Day to sit back relax and see how it plays out. Frustrating as it is there point getting wound up about things in life we have no control of!

Sounds like a deal has been struck overnight for Emerson which sounds like good business.
Leaves Paratici all day to try and strike a deal for Adama or any other targets. Hopefully we can get at least one more over the line.
If the door totally closes on Adama doing a Willian on the Edouard to Palace deal wouldn't be a terrible idea.
Emerson, an attacker and a midfielder would be a very solid first window for our new DoF.
