No idea why this appeared in the thread but this clip always makes me cry
Its a very beautiful moment. I'm a teacher myself and the kids, no matter how difficult they can be, really need their teachers to care for them. That teacher clearly had a massive impact on Ian Wright at a time when really needed somebody.

There’s a famous video of Ian Wright meeting an old school teacher who was a father figure that he believed had passed away. Very wholesome. Bit of a meme response as well as Wright exclaims “someone told me you was dead” when he sees the old fella. That’s the context!
One of those videos that make your eyes water. Mr pigden he was called.

Ian Wright did a documentary about mental health and there was about 15-20 mins on it. Was a good watch.

It's quite handy having Daniel at the wheel ? Not often lots of us have said that lately but right now he will be having a field day. He will absolutely love that in the media about him "not taking calls from city"

His nickname would be Charlie Chalk.
If he was a crack dealer would he be Charlie Brown?

Really lost with this. Citeh seem to now want to give us what we want (ball-park figure) and stone-walled response from us. Can’t make this out ?

wish we just get rid. More down to ‘can we get who we want?’ to replace him!

I wouldn’t be surprised if levy is completely flat out refusing to talk to Man City. We’ve heard how pissed off he and Lewis are with Kane. Wouldn’t bother me if he is taking that stance. I think we should stand up to them.

We are lucky that Levy is the way he is. He won't allow ego to come into things. He has said no sale, so he hasn't been sold. He won't even negotiate with them and rightly so.

Too many on here have got emotional about this, quite understandably. But he is a player, he scores and creates goals. We can't replace him in the time that we have left, so we can't sell him.

He clearly isn't one of our own, and to be fair most our own would want to jump ship if they were in his position as well. He wants to win trophies, he wants to join the club where that is most likely to happen. Not happy about it, but understand it. However, he signed a long contract on big money and so has to accept that city have to pay what we value him at. This is the problem, instead of behaving honorably he has agitated for a move and in the process seriously tarnished his image and completely ruined his relationship with the fans and his legacy at the club.

I do wonder what Paratici would do if he were given the ultimate say. Would he have actually started negotiating w City a week or two ago and sold for 120 knowing who he could bring in as replacement? Would he stand fast for the price like DL is? Really interesting.

I’m really confused by Man City complaining they can’t afford more than 120 million for Kane.

I’m sure their owners can finance it by finding some Abu Dhabi company they control to pay outrageous sums for the right to produce their match day program or sponsor their socks or something.

He is playing it well. Turned his Read Receipts back on yesterday, so now they know he looked at it and didn't respond. Like when you're keen on someone and just sit there waiting and waiting for them to respond to your text/IM.

We have an opportunity to spend a fuck ton of money in a very depressed and cash-poor market.

I have every faith that Daniel’s insistence on a tiresome dick-measuring contest risks jeopardising a very rare opportunity for us, no doubt pissing Nuno and Paratici right off in the process.
