So, were football London the first to report on it then? Just going on the OP.

So, at Atalanta he plays in the middle of a back 3. I wonder if this hints at Nuno potentially moving toward an attack-minded back 3 set up... similar to that of Atalanta, RB Leipzig.

Starts with a no-nonsense MCB. Seems like he fits the bill. As would Rodon. If we buy another defender coming from a back 3 system, then one can only assume he's going to have two systems in place: 1) Back 3 (that can be attacking and defensive) and 2) The hybrid 433 we saw against Colchester.

Interesting days ahead!!

If all this stuff happens, Fabio Paratici might maybe the signing of the window. Ngl i thought he's a bad signing. Just shows how clueless a internet warrior like me is lmao.

So... based on the last three days, would it be correct to assume that the following three players are 'close' to signing:

1) Gollini (sp?)
2) Gil
3) Romero

That's quite impressive.

As reliable as Merlo apparently is, I'm just waiting on Romano or Di Marzio to confirm and send the internet into absolute chaos

I believe Di Marzio/Romano mentioned it was a possibility about a week ago but didn’t really act like it was a big deal. Ally broke the advance Ed talks.

We still miss a left-footed Centre-back. That's the only thing that is not optimal about this signing. I miss Superjan so much.

Who would play LCB in 3 at the back?Ben Davies might be the best choice tbh.

Add to that it sounds like we're in a good position for a RB (Tomiyasu) and a striker. Shaping up to be a great window if we can get all those deals over the line.

Next step is to clear out the deadwood

Tottenham try to close for Romero: negotiations are underway with Atalanta. One step agreement with the player

After Gollini , Romero. The Tottenham continues to look for Atalanta home in search of reinforcements for next season.

If the keeper has already arrived in London, ready to sign the contract with his new club, the Spurs insist on arriving in Romero.

The figures for the tag

Tottenham has accelerated to try to close the operation: the figures that are being worked on to try to get to the white smoke are between 40/45 million euros of fixed part plus 10 million bonuses.

One step agreement with the player

Between Tottenham and Romero there is already a common ground for a 5-year contract plus an option for another season.

The agreement has not yet been fully closed because there are still some details to be filed, but there will be no problems in reaching the agreement.

Curious as to where the 40-50m is coming from if there's no player exchange. I know we're not skint, and presumably we've got outgoings lined up which will cover some of it, but it's just very un-Spurs like, especially in a post-stadium, post-covid scenario.

It’s not all up front.
