He probably got lucky with the high quality Juve defence making him look better than he is then.

He was at Roma before Juve signed him, he legitimately improved in Italy.

I do enjoy when he makes a mistake but he isn't overrated.

Ummm okay looked off. Think the initial call was correct but we dont get the benefit of seeing what VAR does here.

Spain are playing with fire by scoring so early here. Pure idiocy to fall for the bait Poland so obviously laid. They've angered the Polish bear and it'll bite them in the ass soon. Poland are about to blow this group wide open. Any minute now.

Lol how the fuck can you judge from that pic when the ball left the foot of the guy crossing it?!

Edit: the VAR pic on TV they showed, not the one above.

Yeah but that's what I mean: how can you judge exactly when the ball leaves his foot from that angle? It's impossible.

There's not enough frames per second to judge that, which is why the frame with the first contact on the ball is used.

When someone kicks a ball hard it's on their foot well less then the length of a standard TV frame.
My point is that from that angle you can't see when he kicks it. But let's agree to disagree.

So, in the EUROs - when they go to VAR on offside, are they wasting time with vertical lines? Or, do they just look at the feet?

Really don't like the punditry on the BBC, they're constantly talking over each other in the studio, Micah Richards especially. It's like a bunch of blokes down the pub.

It's the same on their podcasts. Sometimes they're OK but a lot of it is the boys having a laugh together.

I do enjoy Sutton, though.
