Yeah but his lack of game time is due to him not putting it in. Had he have been grafting like he has today, he wouldn't be lacking match fitness.

I think both him and Lamela are better when they're on the pitch together as well.

Man he loses the ball too much or slows it down And his passing his off so many players need to tidy up for him.
Thought that was a decent first half, we seemed to lose a bit of fire for 5-10 mins in the middle but got it back with the goal.
Bale for me hasn’t done huge amounts in the game overall, but that’s why you stick him out there, he’s world class, even when he isn’t having a huge effect he can pop up with a quality goal.
Wish Regi would get on his feet a bit quicker when he doesn’t win free kicks.

I actually think Dele has done better tonight, played some good passes, and has looked strong inholding off tackles too.
Decent half over all, how refreshing is it to see us pressing and actually wanting to have the ball.

Nice to at least dominate possession. I know it’s only S United but we have failed to do so against almost every team this season. Need to move the ball quicker and play with confidence. I guess though that is hard to do when you don’t play regularly together.

Huh... don't know whether I would like NDombele to come on for Dele or even Hojbjerg, or just not at all... Nice and controlled. I would like a little more carry from midfield, just a few times we have been too pedestrian when the ball is at Dier's feet and the movement isn't there.

Nice half, solid front play, good to see the ball being moved around crisply. Dele has grown in to the half, off the pace to start with but better as the game went on. Don't think we need any changes at half time for the first time in ages.
Only thing I hope it's that when we get a permanent manager they have the balls to tell Kane to stop taking free kicks.

Someone must’ve told Kane he can leave if he scores a free kick
just playing devils advocate a bit but it’s the first time in ages they’ve had 3 games in 14 days rather than 6 games in the same period
