We need some oil king. Seriously
ESL bad; Oil slavers good.
Not for me thanks.
We need some oil king. Seriously
I wouldn't even mind or care if we lucked out to win tonight with Mourinho in helm. The naysayers can say all they want on Mourinho. If he did, he still at least managed to get us a silverware and we have something to cheer about. The fact was today, the performance from Mason and the lads were even worse than what we have seen from Mourinho and how could that be brushed under by arguments of we shouldn't even be here in the first place I don't know.
This again. Fucking hell.
The whole mentality of this club isn't geared toward winning, it's geared toward 'competing'. That's from the top so it's hardly surprising it filters down. He's happy that we're in with a shout, he's missed more than one opportunity to show he means business and wants to be a winner but no, 'competing' is enough, he's never understood the amount of kudos he'd have gotten if he actually went for it.
"Oh, but he's built a stadium/look where we were when he took over/be careful what you wish for"
The squad has been criminally neglected, we are the only club to ever go two consecutive transfer windows without making a signing. It's resulted in a decline of epic proportions.
"Oh, but he's built a stadium/look where we were when he took over/be careful what you wish for"
He's curls a 12 inch turd out on the chests of the fans and football in general, making us one of the 6 most hated clubs in England while he's at it, nobody wants to deal with him, the EPL are calling for his head, the Supporters are calling for his head and it's blatantly obvious that profit is king with him and ENIC
"Oh, but he's built a stadium/look where we were when he took over/be careful what you wish for"
All of us, pretty much all of us are so down on Spurs at the moment, there's nothing redeeming about us, the hope and joy, the enjoyment of watching us, all of it has been sucked out of us like a brass on crack sucking a pea through a smarties tube, the negativity surrounding us is monumental
"Oh, but he's built a stadium/look where we were when he took over/be careful what you wish for"
God forbid there's complaints because, yep, you guessed it......."Oh, but he's built a stadium/look where we were when he took over/be careful what you wish for"
Every time he gets criticised, one of his disciples crops up with it. Fuck that. Fuck it with a 24 inch dill covered in stinging nettles and ralgex
Totally agree. He goes missing all the time.
Kane’s average first half position was behind Reguilon and Lo Celso. I don’t care what the tactics or instructions were, there is no way he’s being told to play that deep. We essentially have no focal point when he’s sitting so far back. He did exactly the same against Liverpool in the CL final and Croatia in the WC semi final.
Yep it’s a weird feeling . 8 cup finals played since takeover and 8 wins in cup finals for them.Kind of a hollow feeling losing to a team that’s bought their success.
I'd love to hear the explanation. Bale is good for one thing, and one thing only, and that is creating a goal out of nothing. So if I'm going to bring him on, I'd make damned sure there was a creative midfield out there to give him some service. The last thing I'd do is replace our most creative midfielder with a deep lying donkey who offers bugger all.I totally understand why Sissoko was brought on when Bale was
1,000,000% agree mate. This result, and our season, is less to do with good or bad players than it is to do with the lack of a clear identity in the team. At our best a few seasons ago we were able to at least give city a game. Yes we had to defend but we also offered more going forward. We competed and fought for the ball, we had a plan. This team has none of that and its so tough to watch.
Today, we gave them so much space. There was no belief and no effort to close them down and fight for the ball or the pitch. We may not have been able to match them in footballing terms, but not fighting them is unacceptable.
We need a manager just like poch, who will build a team from the ground up. I just want to see us with a clear philosophy. It was fantastic for those few years to be able to articulate what we stood for, how we would play. I was so proud watching us go to Juve, Barcelona, utd, Liverpool, Chelsea, arsenal, anywhere, and go toe to toe. Dominate games through sheer workrate and belief.
The next managerial appointment is crucial, the most important in a generation. Levy has got to get it right.
I kept waiting for Tyler to berate their oil money. What a monkey fuck I amKind of a hollow feeling losing to a team that’s bought their success.
Fuck the stadium.
It's pathetic we fans has NOTHING to cheer. Not even a goal.
If theres any thought about missed opportunities -Ndomele or Bale starting, Man City chances, substitutions etc. The big one for me is Sky to get Mourinho on the analyst panel (tongue in cheek as he should decline out of respect), that would have been an interesting watch.
I feel slightly sick in my mouth at agreeing with Chris Sutton.
This it for me. 3rd manager in 2 years who has failed to get any desire out of them in a big game. Not that it should even be down to the manager.
Dude, of course no one is claiming we lost that final as a direct result of Levy. No one thinks that at all. This forum can be highly toxic at times...the f#ck son comments, kane can't do it in finals, levy out, the list goes on. The majority of this is over the top and completely unwarranted.
I'm not saying Son had a great game or has been in form the last few months, but he does put a shift in and has been a great team player since he signed.
Kane got absolutely no service today, had to drop back etc and was probably not even ? percent fit. If he was playing for City today he would have scored for fun. Saying he fails in major finals is ridiculous, the champions league final he wasn't fit.
Levy out, people can have their opinion on the man, but he isn't the main contributor in why we lost today, he didn't pick the team, coach the players or make the subs. I get some of his decisions previously with regards transfers / manager hirings may lead to critisim but I think to blame him for todays performance is pretty.
All the gear and no idea. Sutton dressed as lamb.
