The only consolation I have is that my other half is a BVB supporter and we live minutes from the stadium. At least they aren’t on great form with a young side, with a new coach lined up and some of the finest players in Europe in their squad. Oh, wait,

I think the stadium was supposed to finance that change of approach, but Covid put that spending on hold. Sadly we might have to wait a year or two before we catch up with where the club planned us to be.

With that approach we will always be playing catch up, the team on the pitch needed to come before the stadium.

This is bad. We’ve had bad nights before, shocking results etc but this feels like something else. This feels worse.

We have 11 matches left, lets just get through them and then go our separate ways. The choice of managers come the summer will surely be better and at least he'll have a proper pre season to get things going.

Mourinho plenty to answer for but lets face it the recruitment has been appalling for some time especially when we spent "biggish", Sanchez,Sissoko, Bergwin,Ndombole, even Lo Celso still plenty to prove,a club with our budget can't afford to get all them so wrong,Son our last major signing what you could call a success, throw in we had Walker & Trippier now we have Doherty & Aurier!

I've seen some shite performances before, which we expected to win prior or during the match. That Southampton 4-0 loss in the cup many moons ago, Everton in a cup semi, losing to Pompey in the semi, losing a 3 goal lead to United and City, never ending shite amount, but this is maybe the worst out of them all

When/if Sonny/Kane move on or decline I dunno where the club is going. Absolute shambles of a club right now

Port Vale was grim.

Nah sorry thats madness. how far are we slipping down the table with that plan? 11 games is 33 points.

It does for me too. I am just at a total loss as to what we do next etc. Some solace in the fact that bringing back Skippy in for next season and with PEH in there too at least the defensive cover situation might be sorted already.

We could suffer some pretty horrendous damage to morale and squad unity if JM stays for the rest of the season. We're desperate for a change. Something, anything to lift the mood. The player's have clearly mentally checked out. They know Jose is done. Jose knows Jose is done. Everyone is just waiting for the inevitable. What authority does Jose have left? Are you going to risk a broken leg for Jose at this point? On the evidence of tonight, no.

This has probably brought the end forward by 12 months or so. We have been on a progressive decline for a couple of years now.

Levy went all in on Jose and it has failed dismally.

Dismantle the place, rebuild and we go again. But geez it's gonna hurt.

I think tonight is another watershed! I doubt Levy will act/react accordingly in regard to the best interests of the football side of the club, he'll be more concerned (as usual) about the finances!!

PEH is class. Just being played too much because he’s the only decent, fit CM we have
personally think he is steady away but no more, does a job but we make out like he's a worldie because of how bad sissoko and winks are and how much we rely on him.

Yeah youre probably right to be honest. Lets just stick a nights watchman in until the summer and then see whats out there. This has become a shambles.

To be fair we’re playing like it’s the late 90’s so may as well tear down the new stadium and rebuild the old White Hart Lane and see if George Graham is available

I’m trying not to overreact but that was absolutely disgraceful. Did we ever have that sort of display with Poch at his low point, Anyone remember?

I remember us getting knocked out by Gent which was pretty poor - but we made up for that by getting back into the CL

Ive had a real good think about it and Ive decided I'm not going to get down or depressed about it. After all its not me thats lost face, I work from home and dont have to face my Man City, Man Utd or Liverpool supporting colleagues. Also I can ignore their sarky condolence messages on Microsoft Teams.
Also, I havent lost money, I put a bet on that DZG would win 3-0 as all my bets go totally wrong usually so I thought this was a way of getting the right result.
Also, I havent lost my wife as she was buried in my cellar in a one person ceremony a couples years or so back. Lovely lady but she was a Liverpool fan and became unbearable in the minutes after a Spurs Liverpool game. If I remember correctly, she passed away the night of a champions league match, totally inconvenient.

Made my day. ?
