Who is a booking away from missing the first qf leg? Is it just dele and Doherty?
Someone is getting ahead of themselves.
Uh-huh.

This squad has mental weakness. It didn't have mental weakness in 2017.

I leave it open to discuss how much of this mental weakness is down to the churn in players and how much is down to the change in manager.

There is no tactical setup that can excuse being second to every 50/50 ball over a 75-minute period, being incapable of handling the press without losing the ball, booting the ball straight at opponents or into touch 20-30 times and being caught in possession 30-40 times. Not winning a single goalkeeper's clearance over 75 minutes of football.

Our manager's whole style depends on a tough, mentally-strong rear-guard. Our players can't do it. It's not an individual thing, it's a collective thing. No one is able to turn things around and regain control, once the opposition starts pressing and harrying our players.

All the other sides are catching on now. Press the hell out of Tottenham and they will give you control of the game, without being capable of getting it back.

Serious question, if you are Kane and Son, would you wasn't to spend next season with us knowing you probably won't win anything? 3 or 4 years left of being elite players.

I don't think so. We are in trouble in the summer.
There's a very good reason why Son hasn't signed a contract yet and who can blame him.

how can sacking poch be correct if he was right about the rebuilt. should have given poch Jose's war chest and back him. that man cook a 5 course meal with nothing in the fridge. should you back him with all the ingredients now?

the person who is wrong is levy. he's too fucking full of himself
Poch had cooked his own goose. He needed the break from us more than we needed to break from him.

Regardless of whether Jose could still salvage something from this season, I think he's going to have to go after tonight. Let's not kid ourselves though, a whole lot of these players need to go in the summer. We need a massive mentality shift in this club.

That shift needs to happen between Levy's ears, too many times in the past he's scuppered the manager's progress on the pitch when we've been on the cusp of doing something special.

They are apparently. Posted something to this effect the other day. Apparently Flick has issues behind the scenes with the director of football. Also when he was asked about German managers job didn’t rule it out. Bayern apparently been speaking to Nagglesmann behind the scenes. He is also a Bayern fan

Andhe has a clause that can be met if bayern come calling, i read. Might have to look elsewhere then

I don't know what more JM could have done.

Started sensibly rotated, put on the big guns and they didn't produce.

Distinctly bad attitude from some of those players tonight.
agree 100% Winks and Sissoko CM is always a terrible match but surely they couldn't have been any worse,
even the first 10 minutes it was almost like watch paint dry, with them 2.

This is just an accumulation of many similar poor performances all season long. West Ham at home, Antwerp, Chelsea away, LASK, Crystal Palace, Leicester, Wolves, Fulham at home, Liverpool at home, Brighton away, Chelsea at home, West Ham away, all incredibly disgusting performances. Ones you could look past in isolation and maybe accept depending on how we performed in the match, but the manner of these performances have become a constant in our play and the performances have been some of the worst I've seen from us for years.

What we've turned into on the pitch is worse than I could imagine.

Our job this evening was simply to guide the car into the garage. No fuss, no sweat, no drama. We’ve ended up smashing up the car, collapsing the garage and running over the dog.
We’re a well deserved laughingstock in the world of football.
How do you do "creative" "winner" and "funny" at the same time?

Well, this was that. :ROFLMAO: (y)
