Not everything is about defence though, we need attacking threat! Also tracking back constantly will weaken someone's overall play as they'll be knackered. I guess it's what Jose wants though.

Against a team like Liverpool you need players who will be able to get back and defend no matter what position they play, Bale can't do that.
