Sanchez was good but any smart defender would have dropped and he would have given a pen

Sadly he will never cut that out of his game
Mourinho just said Sanchez was very smart in not touching the player so the player would of dived and got a yellow card.

Brentford fan on the Red Card.

It’s not even a tackle by Dasilva - Dasilva has possession and falls over while making a pass, it can’t be a red, it’s not a tackle, it’s not intentional, it’s not a foul, it can’t be a red.

Did his dad accidentally slide tackle him in the head while his mum was squeezing him out of the birth canal? Deary me, that guy must be on the wrong side of several spectrums.

Right, can we actually win one of these bloody finals for a change?

Funny thing is, we had never lost a domestic final until Liverpool beat us in League Cup Final 1982 after extra time (amusingly it was known as the Milk Cup that season) - that was our 3rd League Cup Final and we had won 6 FA Cup finals also at that time (also won the FA Cup later that season to make it 7)

He's fine he came back out at full time and was hugging Thomas Frank. He'll be bandaged up and OK for Villa.

If it doesn’t need stitches. Can be painful and hard to heal if it does, from experience. Fortunately it doesn’t look like it does need stitches but who knows for now.

This might not mean much to you lot. The fear of two lockdown birthdays is real (April). I turn 30 this year and on top of societal pressure to have your life sorted by that milestone I may have to deal with another lockdown? That's why the final that Sunday is vital to me. My birthday is the 23rd (Friday) and so Spurs need to give me something to be excited about.

Again that might not mean anything to you guys, but I have very little to be excited for currently.
Well now to ensure my family pull together to get me a ticket if fans are allowed back in ??

I’ve finally worked out who Thomas Frank reminds me of. Tammy’s dad from Rick and Morty.

Sons finishing is 100% up there with the best of the best. Through on goal and he scores time after time. Different types of finishes, high or low, right or left. Ice cool. Variety, accuracy, power, certainty.

Very strong there tonight. Big credit to Sissoko, Reg, Aurier and NDombele.
let’s hope we bring this level of performance to the final now.

Wouldn't mind beating the holders City to win it. 40 years on since the City FA Cup final with THAT Villa goal too. It's meant to be.

Something football fans don't seem to be able to get their heads around is that a foul doesn't have to be intentional to be reckless. He looked like he slipped but then stuck his leg up to put his foot on the ball but that doesn't excuse the fact he connected with Hojbjerg with force and in a potential leg breaking part of his leg.

It’s a clear red card. Nothing further needs to happen though. Hopefully Hojberg is ok.

Seen far worse, frequently. I once saw Pat Van den Hauwe at WHL do a two footed waist high tackle, causing the opposition player to almost do a 360 in the air..... Pat didn’t even wait for the ref, he just walked off down the tunnel :D
