It had been indicated the game would be called off a day before citing an outbreak amongst the Fulham squad this big open secret (no shade against Fulham, this could happen to any person team organisation) .

What I don't understand is why they've officially postponed the game a few hrs before kick off.

i can only assume they’ve rushed through another round of testing to see if Fulham could have got a squad and staff safely out to the game.

given there’s no fans in attendance, probably makes sense to wait as long as possible before calling it off.

Settle this game with a Dance off. Parker v Jomo.
Parker would smash José:

Never thought I could loath international football and those stupid pain in the arse, boring, pointless international friendlies more than I already do.

Would be nice if Jose and Levy could tell Gareth Southgate to go F himself at the next international break

The integrity of the league was always going to be ripped apart this season.

Some fixtures having fans, others not. Us facing fans at Palace, really hard game, then Pool a week later face them with no fans and batter them. I know lots of variables so can't make seeking statements but it's a farce.

You could even argue Leeds are at a disadvantage with this news as well, with us having a lot more rest.
Apart from Palace having their fans in for us and not for the Scousers, they also fielded a world class keeper against us and a Sunday pub team one against the Bindippers.

Annoying from a personal perspective as wanted to watch tonight during yet another lockdown and a good opportunity to get a win.

However could be played at the back end of the season when we aren't in any cup competitions and Kane/Son have looked really jaded so could have been timed worse after this Christmas schedule.

The big win though is we could actually have some fans at the stadium by the time this gets reorganised!

There’s always been postponements at this time of year - usually due to bad weather - so not sure Leeds can argue that they’ve been unduly hard done by. The bigger issue is teams having ridiculous fixture congestion later in the season to an extent which forces teams to heavily prioritise fixtures/competitions due to games being played so close together. If - as is likely - we’re forced to play 4 games in a week late on in the season then today’s postponement hurts us big time.

The nations league is a complete waste of time and should never have been played. Could have had league fixtures on those days and not jam packed the xmas schedule.

Not sure about anyone else - I needed a rest from the football were playing. Happy new year .
Hopefully this time off & the recent disastrous results gives Jose a rethink over his tactics and opens us up a bit more(fat chance. We’ll 100% sit back against Leeds & Liverpool over the next few weeks).

Yep this is issue. It's all well and good getting a few days off now, but when you have to play 3 PL games and an EL semi over 9 days down the road it's not as good...

It won't happen but I reckon UEFA should do what they did last season, play the Euro comps at a neutral venue in a single leg format.

To get games done and make it fair. When a game is postponed, whoever has the most letters in their team name gets the three points. Just an idea. ?
