no matter how well he plays, no matter how mugh he improves, Aurier is always liable to shit the bed at some poinT, with a penalties or free kick for no reason whatsoever

Absolutely no need for that all.......total fucking idiot

Unfortunately, for all his improvements and excellent attributes, this is just something that pops up in Aurier’s game from time to time. We’ve been really poor though. At the beginning of the season (bar Everton) we seemed to attack with real purpose and intensity; I haven’t really seen that since we started this run of tough fixtures against City...

And here is the problem with this style of play, once you go 1-0 down it will be a constant up hill battle . The foxes will sit back here and soak everything up now

Up until that penalty we have been the better side creating better situations, just missing the final pass to setup the finish. Kane and Son have not been clicking today and it is showing on the counters. Kane lays it off to Son and for some reason Son tries a pass across to Ndombele that was never going to work. Normally Son takes that shot.

Kane has a good header but misses it high from 5 yards out. Son has Aurier wide open on the wing but played his pass way too hard sending Aurier too far out. Son tries a backheel pass to Kane in a 2 on 2 situation and it was way too hard killing the counter.

That is at least 4 chances we normally get a shot off but today it's not coming through.

I don't think he's the problem though. It's the general malaise of the team as a collective and you can't put that all at his door.

And Sissoko always first port of call for you if things not going no well.

Agree to disagree. His total lack of footballing ability is definitely a problem for us.

Also - fucking awful by Serge. Which is a shame as he was transforming into a much improved and reliable fullback.

Everyone has been largely shit. We’ve started GLC and Ndombele together in a couple of Europa games and looked terrible on each occasion - no idea why Jose thought it would work today. On the few occasions we’ve put together any kind of counter we’ve suffered from only having a front 2. A change of shape is needed.

I know that. They're playing together on the pitch though arent they?

Which isn't what people have been asking for. They've been asking for him and N'dombele to play together in central midfield with a CDM behind them.

It's like bringing Bale on at CB and then complaining to people wanting him to start that he's not contributing to the attack.
