Yes it is.
Actually the fact he spent so long here makes the way he left even more despicable. He never gave any indication whatsoever for years that he wanted to leave, we offered him more money than what he’s currently on at Inter Milan then when it came to his last 18 months, his agent went AWOL and refused to engage in talks with the club. He did an exclusive interview with a big newspaper in Denmark 4 days after we lost the biggest game in the club’s history saying he was leaving. He bent us over a barrel and made us sell him quickly and cheaply when we could’ve easily gotten close to £80m for him when he was in his prime.
I’m not expecting you to agree, your username is evidence of that, but if you think Eriksen was an angel in the way he left and should be welcomed back by us to save his career, you’re unbelievably blinkered.
He was entitled to run it down. He wanted a change from Spurs and I don't blame him for that. He gave us some great service for a long time.
I don't want to see him back at our club as a player. For some reason he seems unable to produce any decent form at all no matter which team he plays for, but to insult him and call him a prick is a bit overboard. And as a reminder, he wasn't the only Spurs player who failed to produce the goods in the CL final.
