Had it with us too. I remember him pelting one in and Harry commenting after the match that he’d had no idea Gareth could do that and he’ll be using it more often.

I cant remember who it was against but im sure he got an assist or at least created a chance for Defoe with a long throw from the half way line over the defence that Defoe ran onto..

Yeah, you are right, but then he went to Madrid and bulked up way too much. There were some suggestions at the time it could have been a factor in a lot of the injuries he was getting so maybe losing the muscle mass is a deliberate thing.
