We've clearly got a thing for oddball full/wing backs, I was a massive fan of Disco Benny too and he was mad as a sack of weasels, now we've got a Serge - he doesn't run on rails and today he was on fire, worked his crazy balls off. You can really tell the players are enjoying this shape and while our midfield has looked a bit shaky for ten minutes early doors playing like this, once we get into our stride having Serge and Regi bombing down the flanks was so much fun.

Future's bright. Future's Aurange.

I have always been a fan of Aurier but he is now showing how good he actually is. He is still capable of a brain fart but my word he has been superb so far this season and you can see he was improving last season too.

I think the fact that we arent being so lopside in our play helps him and doesnt get him caught out of position.

Continuing to prove himself when selected.

I was surprised by his performance today.

always had a great attitude, look at his performance after he'd lost his brother and still wanted to play, felt at times the system hung him out to dry last year, really hope he sticks around give us the balance we need and competition for places is what will lift performances.

As someone mentioned, It looks like it only took having actual competition for our fullbacks to step up their game. Also, doesn't hurt that they get to rest and recover with the rotation and feel free to give their all each game without worrying about being able to make the next one.
