Heading is actually one of those aspects that players generally seem to improve upon with age / training. So wouldn't be surprised if Mourinho believes he can groom him into the striker he wants.

He's worn number 95 basically his whole career, and since we don't allow numbers that high in England, I've gone for adding the 9 + 5 together trick... ;)

From the footage I have seen, I haven’t seen him score any headed goals which is surprising for a 6ft 3in CF.

I don't think the Portuguese league is known for being particularly aerial I think they tend to play possession style cutbacks more than crosses.

Weird they don’t rate him, he scored 25% of their goals in the league last season

think the play around 3:58 is my favourite

I know it is only a video but I think his style will suit the prem. A lefty and I think Kane and him will compliment each other well.

I am quite wet at the thought :hungry:

is there a consensus on this lad? I don't know much about him and I didn't see anything overwhelming in his highlight reels (although, looks strong enough in holding off defenders and some decent assists)

As per Dragon's latest ITK, ( work permit not a foregone), am I being naive in thinking surely we've enquired about any possible problems regarding work permit.

Not knocking the ITK, just wondering how all this works. Surely any obstacles could be discussed as soon as a foreign player maybe requiring a permit was added to a list as a potential. ??

Not really, most of us only have videos and starts to go on. My take is that he looks to have the physical tools for this league, seems good enough technically, and his stats suggest not just an exceptional recent output, but an upward trajectory and a consistent over 3 seasons (great year in the Portuguese second division, great season last season in the top division, great first half of 18/19 in the Portuguese to division). Only blip has been a six month stint at Monaco, but that was during the pathetic Thierry Henry tenure during which Monaco were fighting relegation and insisting on playing a knackered Falcao up front.
