We're seeing the first signs of Jose's patented "us against the world" mentality. He's done it at all of his "smaller" jobs - Porto, Inter and his first stint at Chelsea. Bring the dressing room together, circle the wagons, make it clear that every other fucker is out to get us and only we can help ourselves and rely on and fight for each other.

If he manages it he'll have success at Spurs. It looks like it might be happening.
Totally this. You hear it in his pressers, you feel it almost and most importantly we're starting to see it in the players too. I mean he has got Tanguy looking like the player we thought we'd signed and I really feel that is all on Jose. Things look much better.

It's his character that's been so impressive. SO many bullshit penalites given against him since restart - but he hasn't dropped his head.

And his pen tonight. First up.

Leader.
100% if we have more like him we will prove the FA n refs wrong and once we start winning things, we might get decisiona in our favour like liverpool and United.

If it's allowed here in the forums, could someone post either the post-match interviews (Mourinho in particular) or links to them? I never know where to look...!

got to laugh - Fat Frank not accepting our busy schedule as any sort of excuse pre-game, but then says his players were too tired towards the end ??

Lamely has been woeful.
Held on the ball for too long a few times in the first half, but he contributed a lot in and out of possession (even goal aside).

The way he chased back at times, I was worried he wouldn't last more than 60 minutes (I think he made one tackle about 25 yards from our goal after a 60-70 yard sprint).

Cor, Frank was not happy was he! Couldn't bring himself to give us even a bit of credit, just thinly veiled digs about 'going long'. Enjoy your lemons ?

Lampard is just a typical 'copy the press blueprint' coach.

His team press well for a period of time and that gives the impression that he knows what he's doing and it does lead to some goals.

However, defensively and game management he hasn't got a clue what he's doing. He's also completely mis managed his squad by signing all these players when he said he was putting faith in the youngsters. They didn't need Havertz or Ziyech, they needed a strong CB and GK.

I got called out for saying this in the summer but you run the risk of unsettling and upsetting players who've done you well, not too mention these kids will be a larger presence in the changing room.

Imagine if Poch had have ditched Kane, Mason, Walker, Rose for more expensive players.

They needed a leader to guide them.

hes all fur coat and no knickers protected by cousin jamie on sky.

Fucking hell 230 million spent by Chelsea.
They need a bit of time to gel going forward but defensively they need more and Frank hasn't really addressed that imo.
