Spurs should go ahead and pay the £100k which they were to get for television revenues

I'm sure Spurs will assist in some way,we have close ties with Orient. I believe Harry sponsors them , fairly certain we teamed up with them to screw West Ham in that stadium debacle. We usually have a friendly with them aswell, point being were closely tied with them,so i imagine we will find a way to help regardless if obliged to or not.
Why not?
Brilliant idea but probably makes to much sense. It would be good to have a friendly once we can get supports back in the ground and open up the self to Orient fans and all proceeds split between the Orient and Edinburgh's charity.
Before we learned new information, I’d have agreed. However, we have since learned this is all Orient’s fault. We were left to pay for their covid tests as their doctors refused to give their players and staff despite knowing multiple players were sick over the weekend. Now 18 are positive and its a significant possibility they infected players at other clubs which could very well spell doom for them. Also, Kane sponsors their shirts. Blame the EFL for not mandating or paying for the tests. If shouldnt be Spurs’ job to look out for another club when this is that clubs and the leagues fault. Why not?
I feel for Orient, I really do - it's a huge blow to miss out on the financial rewards of the tie. But Travis, to my mind, is being unrealistic. Plus, the rules don't support his position. Rescheduling this game doesn't just impact on Spurs, it will affect the rest of the competition, given the next round is in a week's time. Is it realistic to expect Chelsea or Burnley to reschedule their games while waiting to find out who they're due to play from our match with Orient? I don't see how this game can be rescheduled, to be honest.
EFL should pay. They fucked up by not providing tests.

Not going lie my comment was based on the line shown,I wouldn't give talksport the satisfaction of a click.I didn't realise the extent of the issue,I genuinely thought Orient had a case or two of Covid so couldn't fulfill the fixture.Orient endangered their opponents at the weekend playing when they had a number of ill players. Had we not paid for their tests, they'd have endangered us too - why should we compensate their gross negligence? I don't care how small they are as a club, the knock-on effect of their ignorance and pig-headedness could have fucked everything.
