Anyone that thinks the delay is because we're making a really cool announcement video or that we're trying to get hold of a director for a signature (that old classic) is deluded at this point.
Clearly there is an issue, most likely either medical or legal. The absolute best case scenario is that they are waiting or a Covid, drugs or blood test and the labs are backed up. Even then they could have just announced it subject to a medical which would have kept the feelings and momentum going. They've down whole deals, including medical in under an hour before.

Those poor sods who are paid incredibly well to (usually poorly) do a job we’d all love to do.
That said I liked Gilmour yesterday. Hopefully he escapes to a broadcaster that values integrity before Sky moulds him into a a new Andy Burton and give him 13 phones with fake contacts on them.
