Ha, us spurs fans are all the same. Despite it being pretty much done we still fear the worst!

If it’s any consolation a friend of a friend had to prepare the plush German manufactured car yesterday which will pick Gareth up from the airport. I have a photo of said car on charge at Hotspur Way - it is happening!

I never really watched him properly during his time at Madrid, only the odd El Classico or UCL game. But take 12 minutes out and watch how good so many of these are. Those Madrid fans are entitled idiots who will never appreciate what they had with him.

Definitely forgiven, I was only being tongue in cheek. I also bow to your superior knowledge as I was never aware that Jones was a crapaud!

with no pro teams of our own Guernsey has a real mixed bag of clubs being supported but there is a pretty strong spurs following which I believe is mostly down to the The Duke

I read somewhere that it's the club's responsibility to get both players to London*. If that's true, then you need to look out for Daniel Levy's aircraft rather than Bale's, which I am led to believe, for obvious economic reasons, is a vintage Tiger Moth.

*Might have been someone on SC in which case double the salt you'd give to an ITK's info.

Amidst the Ronald, Messi, Neymar, Mbappe frenzy, Bale is just too underrated IMO...

Seriously can't wait for him to play for us any sooner!

And I hope our players can be less selfish and pass to him more often. I love Modric!!

Just watched a round up of his best skill and goals mainly for wales from this last year and he still looks amazing, I had seen some for Wales but la Liga is trickier these days, overall he still has the tricks, control and that burst of pace. Nobody has a clue what has gone on in the background but Real Madrid are a weird club with a real bunch of unappreciative fans although the last bit I've felt for years.

How any club has let a player with this skill just make him sit on the bench I have no idea. Can't wait to see him in a spurs shirt and rip some teams apart.

As long as on the way back Bale takes his seat and Levy has to stand on the top of the plane wing-walking then I'm fine with that.

As long as they've both actually signed in time to be available for Southampton, I don't mind when the announcement is.

It would be nice for them to do a 9/10am Reguilon announcement to give him a bit of attention, and then the main event whenever they believe they'll get most exposure.
