Mental night and my wife isn’t talking to me. Well she wasn’t when she went up about 3 hours ago.

Spare a thought for Saints. One minute there preparing for a stale team with Davies and Lucas starting. Next minute, its looking like they’ll have to face Bale & Reguilon in a suddenly transformed team.

And Ings partnering Kane up top. Life comes at you fast!

I don't care if he's not as good as he was. We look crap, we need a lift, it gives the club a lift, then Lo Celso will magically get better too and we do the quadruple

Literally just woken up from a dream about me celebrating we had signed him lol I’ll go back to sleep now but this would be a lift for everyone!

If we get bale and Reguilon we should consider three at the back. I just feel it would suit those fullbacks so much more and give us better balance.

Davies Dier Toby Sanchez, Tanganga and maybe Foyth all good options for three at the back. Reguilon and Doherty will be allowed to get really high up and a midfield of Lo Celso/Ndombele and Hojberg/Winks might have enough if supported by centre backs comfortable at getting forwards when they need to. Wont happen though.

Here’s the alternate ending to the bolded bits.

we should consider the well-being and whereabouts of Daniel Levy. It’s believed that he is currently being held hostage / chained to a radiator by Liam Neeson. Liam Neeson currently has extracted 3 of the 4 numbers of Levys PIN number.

3-4-3 now looks incredible on paper with Bale, Kane, Son up front. Our fullbacks more suitable for wing back roles (Doherty, Aurier, Reguilón, Sessegnon). Tanganga and Davies good options for right and left centre back. Is it something for Mourinho though?

Davies lcb good shout just needs to sort his passing out! Can imagine Doherty and Reguilon bombing up and down the flanks sounds terrifying for anyone! Then they have to deal with the pace of bale and son! This team will put the shits up many a players!

Tactical so not sure it belongs here, but I feel we do need to scrap the 10 position, which this would achieve. Son coming inside, Moura currently playing narrow (Bale), Kane dropping deeper and when GLC fit, he likes to move forward into space. Dele or any other 10 in that position really seems to block it all up. Also feel Sonny would be twice as dangerous with a genuine outside ball threat.
