I think maybe you’re seeing things that weren’t actually there mate.

This might be a crazy suggestion, but maybe Sunday’s result is clouding the opinions of some.

Hence why I guess they didn’t do one episode a week and tried to get it wrapped up early in the season.

Documentary started off ok episodes 1-2 but the longer it went on the more I just thought Levy has no clue about football and is far too involved in the football decisions and Jose is past it and is actually quite weird and I think the players will hate playing his style of football and that they'll get frustrated with him, I can now see why he ends up having to leave because the squad turns toxic because its all about criticising each other and whilst that is needed to an extent doing it too much just creates an overall negative toxic environment, I don't think any of those players look like they're enjoying their football at all and why would they when the style is to just defend and then create 1-2 chances a game, its boring to play in and I can see this all going the way it usually does with Jose.

I just hope we can sign Bale and a top striker who can just create chances themselves as that is what Jose needs as his tactics are all just focused on stopping the other team scoring that's it, its literally the opposite to Guadiola who is all about control the game with possession movement and attacking, Jose is all about controlling space and passing lanes and then just waiting to pounce to score on transition or counter-attack and right now we don't have the players to do that successfully like he had at Inter, Chelsea etc.

I hope i'm wrong but the documentary has given me even less hope than I had before watching it that the club is actually in good hands on the football side of things.

My main three takeaways

Levy and Hitchens could easily star in a storage hunters football equivalent.

How the fuck does somebody as high up the club as Donna need it explained to her why playing behind closed doors would not be good for the team both in a on the pitch sense and a financial sense? How does that need to be explained.

I can't believe I watched the last dance this year and saw how those final 15 minutes of the show ended and ours was the fucking skywalk and a bbq

Spoilers please! ?

Also, with so many different nationalities, I wonder if just sometimes, not all of them understand his instructions. Unlikely, but possible. Maybe he also speaks to them individually in their own language. Apparently Arteta, during their game against Fulham, was shouting out instructions in four different languages.

I'd say not only 'possible', but almost certainly. I struggle to understand what he's saying, and I'm English and have got the subtitles on. Fuck knows how most of the team understand him, particularly in the hurried and heated half-time talks.

It is crystal clear what he wants and what he expects and from whichever part of the world a player is from they know exactly what Jose would like

It’s what the players ultimately do with that information and knowledge that is the problem

Worryingly this group of players is still making the same mistakes and not willing to go the extra yard - too often

Dier putting that tackle on Son was unnecessary and just borderline thuggish

Also Dele throwing a tantrum in the dressing room was childish, Dier was right to call him out on that, should do your talking and show your frustrations on the pitch really.

Isn’t it all about the results now? Who cares about good PR if we lose? So much meaningless shit circling the club right now. All distractions. All that matters happens on the pitch. What we can or can’t achieve off it means bugger all until it crosses the white line, gets us a win and gets us a trophy. Bloody club is all hype at the moment and the important part, the team, do not justify it.

I've watched all nine episodes of the Amazon series 'All Or Nothing: Jose Mourinho'. I'm thinking of writing to Amazon to ask whether they can do one about Spurs.

I think that's the point though. The greatest teams and greatest players show the same intensity and desire to win in training as they do in matches. In real matches you have to be a bit thuggish.

That goes against the very epitome of being an intelligent ****, more like a stupid ****, besides there's no point showing that intensity and desire in training if you're not gonna show it on the pitch.

The dier/son incident was poor. I don't like the way jose was laughing about it. They should be training smart, not going out there to injure your own teammates with bad challenges. Son had every right to be pissed. Jose wouldnt have been laughing if that resulted in a fracture.

Considering it was 9 hours of fly-on-the-wall footage, filmed over such a long period of time, it wasn't the most insightful documentary ever. I haven't seen any of the other All or Nothing series, so didn't know what to expect, and knew it would be heavily edited/sanitised. However, it's essentially a season review, summarising what happened (which any fan already knows), without much new information or any real intent from the director. I'm still trying to figure out what I learned about the club / team that I didn't already know from watching the games, general media coverage and forums. It must be far more informative for non-Spurs fans, but I don't exactly feel inspired to watch the Man City series.

From conversations I've had, the main thing that non-Spurs fans have decided to take away from the series is that Mourinho isn't very tactical (even though tactics would obviously be omitted).

Hopefully the revenue generated was worth the disruption caused. I don't know how much Amazon paid for the documentary, but one CL campaign is worth a decent chunk of the touted £250m Amazon stadium naming rights deal and it was an awful season for showcasing the club to potential new fans. The cameras and constant feeling of being under scrutiny can't have helped the squad recover from the CL final loss and quite probably contributed to the negative start to the season.

I should have added something to indicate that I wasn't being entirely serious. I agree, in general, there's not really any excuse for all the players not to know Jose's intent and general plan.

But I can well imagine that a decent amount of what he says in certain of those speeches that we've seen in the doc, where there are specific details, was not really understood by most of the non-Europeans for example.

Yeah I thought that was rude and could tip me against Jose as a player. Reminded me of the incident of Terry saying how mourinho when he was injured would ignore him and just go straight to the physio saying I hope he is ready for the weekend.

Sometimes I think he goes OTT with the pushing players, I can see why some leave him etc and also his tactics are all about defending but hopefully that's more editing than anything.

Overall, I loved that, need more! Loved Jan's send off and I think Lloris was right to pick Son on up at the lack of tracking, I can see why he is captain.

I think Jose's way of managing of some situations is very very good, the Son Lloris example and also some HT team talks where he didn't throw the book at the team but made them realise they needed to work harder.

Are we sure there’s no bonus episode coming? Bale & Reguilon signing would be a dream episode and a great way to cap off the series. Closing the series out with “Tottenham didnt win anything last season but are going for it all this season with the return of world class Gareth Bale and the signing of left back Sergio Reguilon.”???

Just watched the last episode. Overall I'd say it was mildly entertaining as a spurs fan but honestly even then it was 90% bland content that left absolutely no impression.

It was incredibly repetitive at times and I feel like they wasted half the airtime showing effectively the same kind of thing over and over. This was particularly the case with the changing room scenes on match days. As they cut out anything tactical that would've been remotely interesting, with a few minor exceptions we basically just got to see the same "come on boys fucking hell we need to be more aggressive, let's get at them, come on let's go!" speech with the backdrop of different clubs' changing rooms.

When all is said and done I reckon there was less than an hour's worth of footage that was genuinely of much interest unfortunately. I'm actually surprised by how well received it seems to have been. It wasn't particularly offensive or anything, just pretty dull.

It's all setting up for a season 2 surely?

It really does feel like All or Nothing!
