Cinnematis...Why is Bill Bale considered as Spam but Richard Fart isn’t?

When people said a front 3 of Kane Son and Bale I always had in my head Bale and Son both play left.... But a lot of that clip is bale playing wide right!
Bale played as a RWF mainly under AVB at Spurs too. Last tiem he played as a left winger was under Redknapp with Lennon on the right and Crouch through the middle with VDV.
Trix has confirmed this is a deal purely for us.
Wide right is a great position for Bale, because he can take his man on, cut inside and hit a pile-driver with his left foot.
Tasty!

We are already stacked with talent in the positions he plays, we need to use what resources we have available to strengthen areas we are lacking in.
At 31 we will recoup little to none in any transfer fee we would have to pay and he won’t be cheap!
He will want at least what are top earners are on and I would imagine more, which may cause problems.
Players like Kane and others may think it’s a good idea to move to bigger clubs to win things then return as a hero.
He is not the same pace merchant he once was, he is injury prone.
For all those reasons as romantic as it seems I hope we steer clear of this move, the only upsides I can really see are commercial.
I've seen a lot written about Spurs needing a creative midfielder, and several recent posts on here about needing one more than having Bale back. Presumably because we seem to have trouble breaking down teams that sit deep ? But as someone who was lucky enough to have a season ticket that covered the period Bale was with us, i can assure you that the best way to win a game against a team sitting deep is to have someone who can smash a 25 yarder into the top corner as accurately and as often as Bale can !
This is probably the argument I am looking for. I cannot get past the age and injury concerns but this is a good counter argument.Signing Bale would do more than just give us a potential great player. It would make the squad and fans believe. That’s really important when you are trying create a winning mentality
Nah, mate, you had it right the first time. AIA actually recently transformed their whole PR messaging.oops better fix that haha
He was the other player that immediately sprung to mind when I watched Kane twat that one in in the demolition of Burnley last season. They're the only two players I've seen for us capable of that on a consistent basis.I've seen a lot written about Spurs needing a creative midfielder, and several recent posts on here about needing one more than having Bale back. No idea whether we'll sign him or not, but for those doubting his ability this YT clip selection is useful...
Even after a tough year where he was hardly motivated, he's still got skill, swagger, pace and strength in spades.
I honestly think we'd win the league if we signed him...
...and imagine if NDombele decided to live up to his ability level too!!
Holy moly!!
