Doubt they would if they get sancho. Reports flying around united have made a breakthrough with sancho's agent regarding fees. City though? They was prepared to spend huge on Messi

More nonsense for clicks.
It's Dortmund themselves they have to negotiate with and they've already failed that test.

So, what's the chances of this being the 'deal' we fuck about with til time runs out, in the meantime missing out on a bunch of viable options. Put this shit to bed and sign a fucking striker!!

Bale's return would give more enjoyment than just the beauty and results of what would happen on the pitch. There is also the wrath of the BSoDL raining down after so many years of drought.

I know he's not a striker by trade, but I'd feel way better seeing Bale start up front for us, than the likes of Deeney, Watkins and Wilson. Liverpool just won the league by 18 points, mostly playing without a striker. Hugely unlikely, I know, and Bale isn't without injury problems himself, but I'm not entirely sold by the idea that we absolutely have to have a back up striker. Obviously that would be my first choice option, as it's how Jose wants to play, but if we can't get a quality one, I'd rather Jose was a bit more flexible in the way we attack, as opposed to compromising on quality. I just find Liverpool's success make it hard to accept that we must have another striker and think that had we had a player like Bale, who is bigger and stronger than Lucas, we wouldn't have struggled half as much, when Kane and Son were out. It's why I like the idea of Depay, but he's now being linked with Barca, which is a real shame as he wouldn't be expensive due to his contract situation.

I'm not gonna say no to bale. I'd love if bale returned. He'd provide a lot of extra quality. However, he's getting older and he's injury prone. I think I'd prefer we signed a young striker who has the potential to grow into a superstar. Someone like Daka or Leao would be ideal for me. Someone versatile and young with a lot of potential. But of course, there's no way I'm gonna be against bale coming back if it actually happens.
Isn't that what Parrott is? One thing that has been different this window is signing players who are already developed. Players who will make an impact now rather than the long term project under Poch. If there's any chance of signing Bale I think we should 100% make it happen. He will score more goals and win more games than any striker we've been linked with. He would increase our chance of winning trophies a lot more than the likes of Daka or Leao etc. That's not to say I wouldn't take one of those too but if it's one or the other it has to be Bale.
