Dream scenario....We are 4-0 up,with 5 minutes to go.Jan comes on as a sub.We win a penalty in the last minute. Kane gives the ball to Jan to take it.Jan scores...????
Doubt Harry would give him the ball though????

Remember the goal Jan scored a few years ago,the one disallowed by Chris Foy for offside.
The whole team inside our own half, ball is passed to Jan who is well inside our half,he runs and scores. Goal, disallowed for offside....ridiculous but still laugh about it now.

He deserves a proper send off... And we talk about loyalty and how we expect players to be loyal... When they are loyal we just act like it's nothing.

I could easily see him coming back as a guest during a half-full Europa League game next season when most of the crowd at the stadium are off getting their pies/having a slash.

In reality he deserves a testimonial. Not sure when we'd fit it in though.

No, not for me. Went on some big sulks under Tim and AVB. Great player sure, but no testimonial as far as I'm concerned.

Can hardly blame him for being disillusioned when we hired that clown Sherwood as manager. I think we were all fairly disillusioned at the time

I hear we're giving Jan a testimonial. It's going to happen right after Anderton's.

His performance against Dortmund was one of the best I've seen from a player wearing a Spurs shirt. He will be missed.

Going to miss Jan. Been a great player and seems like a great guy aswell.
But all good things come to an end.

A great player, will be sadly missed. For me it's telling that I don't see us replacing him with a similar quality player. He was a coup signing 8 years ago. In fact i'd extend that to our transfer activity generally, we're struggling to replace players of quality who've left. Lo Celso the only recent exception, doesn't look like Ndombele will work out, his heads not in it
