Kane's PL goal ratio is 0.67 according to Wikipedia, higher than Shearer and only just behind Aguero on 0.68. Crazy he hasn't won anything yet.
Don't forget Aguero turned up to the premier league as an established striker. HK has had to mature during his time playing in the EPL.
I'd bet good money that SA doesn't have the same strike ratio in all top league games.

Big difference defensively for me under Jose is not that we are under less pressure during games, but that we don't look fucking terrified and fall to pieces whenever we are.

Get a couple of midfielders to win the ball back and transition it quicker and some top class full backs and we're onto something here with Jose.

Agree, but getting a whole new CM and FB’s is not likely in one window. Agree though that is what we most definitely need ( unless N’Dombele turns things around). Plus another striker.

Kane isn't back. He wasnt ever off it. We are attacking at pace and he's gwtting the ball in and around the box. That just wasnt happening a few weeks back and there was bugger all Kane could do about it. He was still scoring when he only got 1 sniff in 90mins.
People saying sell him are morons.

I do believe that he’s fitter for the break though
Done him good

Don't be c***ts now and throw this away... Score more goals and win this by 4 or 5

If we were all pointing at Mourinho when we were playing turgid, hesitant football without any fit strikers, we have to credit this half to Mourinho, because it's been the result of tactics and a world class striker.

We've been trying to play counter-attacking football for a long time, but now it is working. The difference, of course, is that Mourinho used the break to get our defence into some kind of shape - not perfect, but recognisably solid and organised and with good support from midfield.

For about 15 minutes before and mainly after our goal, Leicester were dominating the ball, Winks and Sissoko were all over the place and we were struggling to clear the pressure, but once we got a fair share of the ball back, we kept the pressure on our goal off for long enough to make a few things happen.

Leicester have attacked with real threat and Lloris has made a few saves, one very good. A fair HT score here would be 2-1 or even 2-2, but our defence looks organised at last and they've been the difference, because their solidity has enabled the fast breaks that have led to the goals.

A word about Lucas Moura. When he arrived, he couldn't/wouldn't defend. Pochettino scarcely played him his first season and he said that was why. Last season, he was at least a responsible player who would tackle in midfield and win the ball. But in six months, Mourinho has turned him into an Aaron-Lennon-style defensive winger who tracks back, harries the opposing wingers and fullbacks and wins the ball.

Clinical 1st half, but we gave up too much posession and I thought we were quite poor for large parts of the half. Score line flatters us it could be 3-3.

But f@$k it! COYS!

Free yourself of the possession obsession and you will realise we were far from poor.
