Arsenal Spurs are a soulless mismanaged omnishambles of an organisation who have been ran into the ground systematically over the last decade two years. From the top down their our club is a laughing stock.

A couple of full backs turned Man City from an average team into champions. Most underrated position on a football pitch.
What bollocks. In the six seasons before Walker joined Citeh, they won the title twice, were second twice and were never outside the top four.

Certain to miss out on a top-four finish for the first time since 2015.
Not finished lower than sixth in 11 years.

We (the fans) should expect and deserve more.

It's not bollocks. I was talking about Pep's first season when they were average. Second season signed three full backs and made a massive difference.

Got to continue the rebuild that we started last summer, and as poch said, it's going to be a painful one. The following players need to be sold or released:

Jan
Kwp
Moura
Davies
Toby (if a good offer comes in)
Aurier
Winks
Sissoko
Rose

We also need to find a long term replacement for lloris too given that the fees for GK seem to have rocketed.

Whatever we get for the naming rights should be invested straight into the squad along with player sales. We need to be smarter with our transfers, I'd rather we signed young and hungry players with Premier league experience and we could get some of those players from the relegated teams if we move fast.

we've got a good core of players in kane, son, lo celso, ndombele, sess, bergwijn, alli, japhet although it's telling that all those players, bar 1/2 are attacking players and not defensive.

Sanchez has potential, dier and lamela are handy backups. I would like to see sess and japhet in the same mould as walker and rose in the good old days.

We desperately need a defensive midfielder, another CB to partner with Sanchez as dier is not CB material and its plain to see that Toby is past his best, and a backup to kane.
I’d add Hugo, Vorm, Dele and Lamela to that list as well. 13 players from the current squad. Holy shit. Bad times.

On a side note, I'm sure we have historically always played incredibly poor when we wear that blue kit. Always lose. I swear I remember days in the early 90s with Kevin Scott and Jason Cundy in defence getting absolutely smashed wearing that blue kit. Then some terrible performances in the tight Kappa kit days.

You could argue the lose of two full backs for whatever reason has seen us slide.
We were playing shit football when Rose and Walker were still here, we just managed to get enough results. And you can’t have forgotten the shit that both those players got on here?

Most of our players from the Poch Era were one dimensional that were propped up by a handful of World Class players. Those World Class players are gone or have declined, weren't adequately replaced and now their limitations are being exposed. Add in a style of play that doesn't suit them under Mourinho and this is the type of performance you're going to get.

And the winner is .. Lamela, Sissoko please take note FFS!!!

And you can add Moura and Ali to the list as well. Even Son as much as I love him as a player is guilty of this at times.

It was an issue for me even when we were at our best under Poch, but as we dominated the ball more often than not it wasn’t quite as important. When you are relying on moments during games though this weakness is just highlighted so much more.

Bang average? What about Sheffield Utd’s squad then? Or the other ‘bottom-half’ teams that regularly play better-looking football than we do? Are they actually better footballers than ours? Do you actually believe that? Or do they have a better coaching team, one that is capable of making a team more than the sum of its parts. It’s one or the other.
Your explanation shows how they are exactly bang average !! And a lot more of the players in the bottom half teams would make are team that you think!!! Full backs both bang average ! Centre backs average you could easily take full backs and centre backs from lower teams ! Cm position very weak again you could take a couple from lower teams, attack you could even take a few but that’s our strongest area! This isn’t the team from a few years ago mate! Average team now league position and league results last 18 months don’t lie but you keep fooling yourself

They're a much better-balanced side. I'd take their keeper, fullbacks, quite few of their midfielders and the way Kane's playing, Jimenez would give him a run too.

The guy put the ball in the back of the net 4 times today despite the fact that his teammates are nearly incapable of finding him with a pass. Cut him some slack.

Yes before their full backs declined very much like Toby and jan then city finished I think 4th! They then improved that area and won the league ? clueless some of our fans

Honestly a clash of styles between our club and mourinho, I'd be so much more patient but honestly not a fan of Mourinho's football, regardless of results. Miss Poch's football and positivity

Trouble is Mourinho’s football is no different to Poch’s in the later years.

He’s not been playing great, though, is he? The touch is heavy and he’s only sprinting sporadically. It’s not his fault, he needs time. I’m just saying Jimenez has been playing well this season.

It does not matter which manager we changed to they would still have to deal with Levy, we are rotten from the top down, we never push on from a good position, we always go backwards, and that's down to Levy.
