That was what I was getting at. Or most of it, anyway.Unfortunately the Kane factor distorts the goals scored problem.

It's exactly what Bale used to say and we all nodded sagely and agreed with him.
that’s the first time I’ve seen it. It’s a perfect example of the inconsistencies of officials. Some would give that a red and some a yellow. I think if one of our players was sent off for that I wouldn’t be over the moon.
Nonsense I would have been angry at our player for such a stupid dangerous challenge and accepted the fact they deserved to be sent off. I dont see how anyone can defend it
Edit the majority of people on here would be saying how stupid and reckless aurier for example is if it was him committing the foul
But I suppose if you don't concede then you always have a chance at the other end I personally would not be adverse to a few 1-0 wins until we get the striker situation sorted.Unfortunately the Kane factor distorts the goals scored problem.
Credit to Mourinho for throwing Stevie into the team right away.
It's not a fair comparison. Previous recent signings have been injured at acquisition or shortly thereafter (Sessegnon, Lo Celso) or out of shape from not playing (Lucas, Ndombele). We just signed Bergwijn in the middle of a season when he's been playing competitive matches every week for several months.Yes normal procedure is 18mths of prep work before you enter the team
for me that’s a clear red, ankle breaker.
David to be fair mate I was exaggerating a bit it's part of my sense of humour but having said that the quick integration worked well today and I'm pleased for the boy and the team. It's not a fair comparison. He’s an ideal number 2; not half bad and loves the club!Say what you like about Gazzaniga, but his off the bench celebrations when he mobbed Stevie Beergarden were things of beauty
There were large parts of that game where I forgot de bruyne was on the pitch, testament with how well he dealt with him.
But didn’t Bale continually get penalised? I’m not sure whose side you’re on here. It's exactly what Bale used to say and we all nodded sagely and agreed with him.
True
I think we are starting to morph into a Jose side where as you said everyone knows their roles there is nothing wrong with solid defending which we are working to.Absolutely, I think the key for the short term is building up that understanding within the midfield which for me has vastly improved over recent weeks and we're seeing more defined roles, Winks isn't being asked to change his responsibilities on a game to game basis, Lo Celso isn't needing to be played out wide as much to accommodate Eriksen. We'll see how Jose fits Dele and Ndombele, it'll be interesting but with that amount of quality in the middle then those up top will get enough chances where Kane was used to having to do more with less.
