Great win, we got absolutely battered but held in.

Could be the win we have needed to get us going, Bergwijns goal was incredible, the technique. Toby was loving it today.

For everyone that bitched after the Liverpool game and didnt understand the tactics Jose deployed....well now you can see it clearly works and if we had been able to finish that day then we might have won then too!

Top class and Jose is showing us how to ruthlessly win.

There were large parts of that game where I forgot de bruyne was on the pitch, testament with how well he dealt with him.

He’s recovering from a serious injury. I think Jose has handled it well.

Yes ofcourse Ndombele when Healthy, that is a given, but I always thought being on the Subs bench meant you were somewhat Healthy, If you gave him 20-30 minutes in the first half he could have changed that game, sorry, Lo Celso as a CM is wasted for me.

Also people will point out the possession stats and the shots on target and all that rubbish. How many meaningful saves did Lloris make? Yes we rode our luck at points. And we made mistakes. Yes they had two 'sitters' (though they were far from the easy chances they were portrayed, they were in a good position but the reality is both chances required very special technique) but that is always the case against city. The reality is we defended well, wound them up and took our chances. Typical Mourinho, but it was no accident.

Absolutely! I had the misfortune to watch on Sky rather than live - "all that rubbish" was largely fed in by Jamie Carragher. I was utterly pissed off by his punditry -barely a good word for spurs, lots of less than subtle slurs spread around.

Truth of the matter was - we quietened Man City's attack in the final 3rd of the pitch. Our defenders did really well - even Aurier. We barely saw Sterling, Debruyner was largely kept off the ball. We took our chances!

If Dele did this to Sterling, it would be an automatic red, without any hesitation from Dean.

it was a borderline decision. He was on his feet, he got the ball and caught Dele on the follow through. It looked terrible in slow motion. It was bad luck and not intentional. If it had been Dele making the tackle my opinion would be the same. Close but not a red

Intent has nothing to do with it. Either it’s endangering an opponent or it’s not. It’s a stonewall red
