Let’s not get tetchy, you wouldn’t have made that comment if Son wasn’t of Asian origin, don’t pretend like you would have. You aren’t posting that sort of commen in the Ndombele or Lo Celso threads are you? Not trying to have an argument nor am I offended, but let’s not pretend the comment is anything but what it is.
Well lets not go looking for a problem when there isn't one?

I'd be very surprised to see this decision overturned or the ban reduced, if anything it's likely to be increased or stay the same, if it's increased he will miss the Liverpool game,so I think this appeal is going to be proven to be ill advised.

Yes he was provoked by Rudiger, there is little doubt about that, but he clearly retaliated and like it or not,the rules prohibit this so I can't see how the panel are going to come to a different conclusion, i.e that he didn't retaliate, the evidence clearly points to him doing so, there is no way they are going to conclude that his actions were accidental so in my opinion it's a foolhardy appeal that is bound to fail and if anything it will be increased.

On another note, what kind of message is this going to send to Son. That we condone this form of retaliation whenever he does it, we can't and shouldn't as it won't serve us well, and it will lead to even more incidences of him doing this.

Don't get me wrong I'm a big fan of his and he's a fabulous player, but these elements of petulance have gone beyond one off's and he's not an 18-19 year old rookie he's a 26 year old experienced professional who should know better, and it would be better in the long run if this issue was tackled with him with it being spelled out to him firmly that he cannot keep doing this, because it's costing us points and missed games.

Well I for one am shocked that an egregrious appeal was rejected. We’d be lucky if another game wasnt tacked on after this.

It very much does exist if it's deemed to be a frivolous appeal. They can apparently do anything up to and including doubling the original ban.

It won’t be considered a frivolous appeal because clearly Rudiger is trying to get a player sent off by feigning injury.

It won’t be overturned because Son is a tool who fell into a trap.

The club need to arrange for him to have anger management sessions. Defenders will continue targeting him as they know he has a short fuse. He really needs to get a handle on his tendency to lash out.

Son needs a rest as he is pretty much our main sometimes only player. Surely also a chance for some of the bench warmers to get a game as JM doesn’t like to change his team personnel even if changing formation

You know this video is at least a month old? After the Red Star game I believe?
I’ve seen this a lot on twitter with people trying to suggest this was JM ignoring Son after the Chelsea game.
