Thank fuck! That felt like a cup tie.

We showed a little fight, though a little desperate. Brighton a decent side.

Job done.

One huge difference this season is playing without erisken, it’s like when modric left us, people only realised how vital he was once he’d gone and as shit as Eriksen has been this season because his head is at Madrid, no one can deny that he was our fulcrum of play for the last 3-4 seasons. Add to that today that we are without son and this truely is a mid table team. Barely any of our players would get in City lpool or Leicester or Chelsea teams.

jose tactics are a little negative and it’s hard to get used to the lack of pressing and possession and more long balls but without creative players it’s easy to defend against and boring.
As I said put more creative players on and look what happened, we competely bossed the 2nd half when lo celso and erisken came on.
We need to get lo celso and ndomble up to speed and fitness and we need to sign an erisken replacement.

great turnaround well done the team and Jose for changing it up.

Hopefully GLC did enough to get more minutes, especially now with all suspensions, him and Eriksen together can run the show. Sessegnon also played well, will be even better with those 2 in the team and with different tactics.

Well we’ve scrapped in the 2nd half and got the result. Looked so much better when GLC came on. Please give us some creativity in midfield Jose.

Funny how we introduce more technical players with intelligence rather than relying on athletes and we automatically look a lot better. Hopefully Mourinho learns something from this. Still don’t like how we relinquished control for the last 10 minutes though.

Phew thank god for the win! ??

I hope we sort midfield soon though, no more Winks and Dier partnership as they’ve been tried enough now and clearly don’t work.

Mourinho needs to find a better balance in midfield and we really need a top notch defensive midfield that can dominate.

Lo Celso looks over the moon having played a bit of football. Probably the only thing he wished for Christmas.

At least it's a brand new CM pairing for the next game! Kane and Alli both look fucked after that game

Brighton are a really good team to be fair. They worked hard and got the win against Arsenal at the Emirates recently.

christmas time always is a time where you grind out results for points, good start to the congested period we have now. be interesting to see who we play in the midfield against Norwich.

Another poor performance from us but 3 points is all that matters

Today proved how much we need Lo Celso and Eriksen, we need their creativity

It's not even really the creativity we crave, it's the ability to recieve the balls in tight areas and make progresive passes.
