I'm sat here wondering how the same players who rushed Jol against the villa when Kaboul scored where the same that failed to perform for the guy when he needed them to. Berbatov on Monday was out of order (in my opinon), Lennon's form has sucked a duck for way too long now, Robbo showed no signs of turning his own form around, Kaboul clearly doesn't listen to advice, Chimbonda still looses possesion more than Atouba ever did (and he was mince) and young players haven't developed at all, the hudd looks all at sea, Dawson has regressed, Routledge keeps being kept at the club. Our Bright spots this season have been Robbie Keane, Gareth Bale and Jermain Defoe who's dignity has been a reflection of jol himself.
Have they been just treading water while waiting for a new guy to come in? Do they not realise that its we not the club who pay their wages? Are they relieved this morning that the man who's made many of their careers has now gone from the club? How many wanted him out? Who was giving the ultimatums to Levy and the rest of the sesame street crew in the board room? He goes or I go? Why would bringing in a new manager cahnge any of their form or attitudes?
I'm jsut not sure the players have covered themselves in glory here. What do you lot think?
