The German company that represented Son (on a case by case basis, not a long-term contract) sold themselves to a big Korean media company. They told Son they wouldn’t and did anyway. This big company then proceeded to make huge claims about owning rights to Son even though Son never had a contract with the German company and was very against working with the Korean company.

Son just washed his hands of the whole thing.

If that's all true you can imagine this Korean company being quite upset. I imagine Son image rights would been a huge boon in this deal for them

I think His Dad is a massive influence on his career pathway. Even heard he told him not to get married until he retires as it’s a distraction. On one hand you could say he’s been naive and not maximised his huge Asian earning potential on the other you could say it’s admirable he’s put the football ahead of commercial deals.
