Bayern are cooked if they want him based upon the last year. Kovac has genuinely done more
Well, managers are sacked and get new jobs. That's how it is. Poch have for many years done a good job for us. It's like a divorce. You'll probably get a new girl. It was good for many years, but then it didn't work any more. Probably it will work better with the next one. Poch is still a good manager. There must be some more complex explainations behind this.

Bayern have just sacked kovac and there was heavy rumours in the summer they wanted pochettino, potentially a chance to get rid of him without paying off his contract if they're still interested
I could handle Poch going to Germany far more than United. It would be a good way for him to get some trophies on his CV too. All in all it wouldn’t suck.

Jose said before the season started that 4 teams could win the league, Man City, Liverpool, Man City reserves and spurs.

He rates this squad enough to not need a ridiculous amount of cash. He's a winner and will be desperate to prove doubters wrong.

Anyone saying he plays shit football etc must have not seen us play since Everton away last season. The only teams we've looked half decent against have been absolute shit.

Bayern acting like a big club they are. We are floating along accepting below par performance.
But can you see him coming here and working with levy and constantly one hand tied.

I think its the best case scenario for all other than Poch turning it around which he won't I'm afraid.

I love the idea of the next manager coming in and inviting the wantaways in to his office, and not asking them what their future holds, but telling them exactly what their future at Tottenham holds. ‘Injury cover and nothing more. Train away from the group of players who want to be here until May, unless you can get a move in January, where we will happily listen to all offers’

Bayern get smashed once and he's gone, even though they were second before this week, and are still only 4 points off first. We have been shit all year, haven't won away since Ajax in the CL and Fulham before that, 13 points from 11 games in the PL, got hammered 7-2 by Bayern then 3-0 by Brighton and yet we're still keeping poch around. Shows that this club has no expectations imo. The CL run has papered over a chasm which is now fucking us repeatedly. Any team that hoped to achieve something this season would have let him go based on the last 10 months.
We're not Bayern. Comparing us to them is like comparing us to Barcelona or Man City. They can pretty much pick and choose who they want to take over.

And Kovac was unwanted by the fans a lot longer than Poch has been. They never took to him and wanted him gone over after last season. Who wanted Poch gone this summer?

Yes. I believe he'd be happy to prove his worth and then get the financial rewards that come with it.

He comes in now, gets this squad (which is easily talented enough) into the top 4 and then Levy would throw money at him next summer and rightly so

Spot on but that is ENIC and levy for you time and again we see with transfers that when we are selling the club demands big money like they want for ticket prices, but when the club is buying it's tighter than a choir boys arsehole and fucks around waiting for cheap deals on the last day total embarassment.
Good to see you've made a speedy recovery Shelfy!

Wouldn't begrudge him it at all. Its a massive job at a massive club and one he deserves. Its just a shame its gone to shit here

I think he would be able to do it if the ground rules are established from the beginning.
