we do need to buy in January. at the moment we are playing with a team that might look great on paper, but having 2 players at least every week not giving 100% puts you on the back foot. changing the manager won't change it now, those players are not playing for themselves or the club because they are getting ready to piss off to their next club.

We still don’t need to buy in January (when good players are hard to buy) ... we just need to pick the right team. Freeze out the ones who want out. Takes bravery to sack off 4 or 5 players but we still have a lot to come in. KWP, Sessegnon, Skipp, Dier, Foyth, Parrott, Lo Celso... all have a big part to play this season. Kane, Son, Moura, Lamela... all up for it too.

Freeze out: Wanyama, Toby, Aurier, Rose, Eriksen

Gazza
Foyth Sanchez Verts Davies
Ndombele Sissoko
Son Lo Celso Dele
Kane

Subs from: Lloris, KWP, Dier, Winks, Skipp, Sessegnon, Lamela, Moura, Parrot

Maureen would love to stay in London!
Would love to manage especially a top London Club! Will it, would it be us? I am sure he would love it to be so. Can I see it happening? Not so sure.

Agree with this. I've got a sneaky feeling he'd much prefer us to 'them' aswell.

would be delighted if Bayern came in for pOch - best for all parties....
Never going to happen though is it.... why would they want him?

We have to start protesting at the ground for change, we have no option or nothing changes!

Bayern get smashed once and he's gone, even though they were second before this week, and are still only 4 points off first. We have been shit all year, haven't won away since Ajax in the CL and Fulham before that, 13 points from 11 games in the PL, got hammered 7-2 by Bayern then 3-0 by Brighton and yet we're still keeping poch around. Shows that this club has no expectations imo. The CL run has papered over a chasm which is now fucking us repeatedly. Any team that hoped to achieve something this season would have let him go based on the last 10 months.
Spot on. Winning prizes is nowhere near the top of the priority list for our board. If it happens in the course of increasing the value of their investment, that's a fringe benefit to them, rather than their raison d'etre for being here.

I'm bored typing that he should have been sacked straight after the Bayern game and that every day we allowed him to continue in his job after that would be a day we'd be wasting, and I'm bored of being proved right week after week.

No point in watching us play until he's gone now: we know exactly what brand of disappointment we'll be served up each match. As always, my sympathies go out to the poor bastards paying through the nose to watch a club that doesn't demand the same high standards of its staff than it does of its fans.
Spot on but that is ENIC and levy for you time and again we see with transfers that when we are selling the club demands big money like they want for ticket prices, but when the club is buying it's tighter than a choir boys arsehole and fucks around waiting for cheap deals on the last day total embarassment.

Jose said before the season started that 4 teams could win the league, Man City, Liverpool, Man City reserves and spurs.

He rates this squad enough to not need a ridiculous amount of cash. He's a winner and will be desperate to prove doubters wrong.

Anyone saying he plays shit football etc must have not seen us play since Everton away last season. The only teams we've looked half decent against have been absolute shit.

Bayern acting like a big club they are. We are floating along accepting below par performance.

Well, perhaps Gru needs a text from Mou to remind him ...

What do we always say, don't do it to ourselves ... This seems apt.

"Manchester City, Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester City B team." Mourinho' s picks to win the title this year.

Of course he prefers us over Arsenal. And if I was Levy id be on the phone telling him to hang tight and don't take the Arsenal job yet.

Bayern have just sacked kovac and there was heavy rumours in the summer they wanted pochettino, potentially a chance to get rid of him without paying off his contract if they're still interested

Just a thought. Would it be fair to say Poch still has admirers from afar? I mean Klopp still had plenty despite losing a CL final and then going on a massive downward spiral similar to ours.

Pundits and ex players still hold Poch in high regard so surely others would too? I mean the general consensus here is that Poch is done with this team not that he's suddenly a terrible manager although he has some flaws.

That last minute sub was baffling. It's like he was making it to waste time, to hold onto a point.

The Champions League finalists, wasting time to nick a point away to a team in 17th. Laughable.
I mean, he’s making lots of errors at the moment, but this was just common sense. We’re down to 10, they’ve just scored, have the wind in their sails and the crowd was up. Of course you waste time and make a sub to try and kill the game.

I imagine that many top clubs would be happy to give him a go, I'd expect he'd be top of Madrid and Bayerns list. The bayern situation will be interesting to watch unfold and how it might affect us.
