Hate to say it, but I hope Eriksen gets injured or something that keeps him out for the rest of 2019 ?
Could imagine Poch re-watching the 16/17 matches and picking him again and again in hope to see that good old Eriksen once moreWhy the fuck Poch keeps picking him is totally beyond me.
We are actually far too easy on the likes of Eriksen. If he had come out with those comments at Liverpool or Utd, he would have been crucified. The mentality of both the club and the fans has to change massively
Can't remember Pogba being nailed to a cross this summer.
I know a club in need of Bale. Extremely desperate. In need of a winner. Only downside is it's an actual shower of shit. Resides in a brand new state of the art stadium though. So, both Bale and Eriksen seem to be desperate to leave their clubs. Well, you know what to do Daniel!
Apart from the world class 50 yard cross field pass to Son in the first half which set up what could/should have taken us 2 up you mean of course, which not another player in our squad would be able to make.I have hitherto refrained from saying anything about him, but yesterday was the last straw. Never made a pass over 10 yards and in fact created at least 5 turnovers under hitting his passes, and one of those led to a goal against us. Don't ever want to see him again.
History being rewritten. He slipped and gave the ball away, cost us the 2nd goal at Anfield.
He can’t defend or attack. A complete liability to the team. Just fuck off
I guess Poch is hoping that Eriksen (and the rest of the team) can just play through this and regain their past form. I doubt its more complicated than that.
I think that's the crux of the matter. Playing through form is one thing. Simply not performing at all is another.Exactly. Sticking with the Eriksen - Dele - Son - Kane combo who's been working so well for the past 6 years.
And Eriksen/Toby of course is saying he's professional and all that, and that's why Poch is still picking him because he's good.
Thing is - anyone can see how bad Eriksen is playing atm, but not Poch. Either he plays him in the correct position or just don't play him. He's not a RB.
The Lo Celso injury did nor help at all. If he'd have started more then I imagine Eriksen would have been shunted, well that's what I would have expected.I'm just so perplexed as to why this guy is still in Poch's thoughts, I mean he shouldn't be anywhere near the team should he?
We should be preparing for life without Eriksen, he's currently contributing nothing whatsoever on the pitch and he's an actual detriment to us and taking up a starting spot from someone else.
I don't understand why he can't split his minutes between Lucas, Lamela, Lo Celso and Ndombele, surely we can manage now as we have cover, even then if he was to play he should be getting minimal mins against the likes of Red Star.
I said this before in the summer he needs to be careful because eventually (hopefully) he'll be totally ostracized from the squad and he'll need to keep fit and fresh for the EURO's next summer AND then carry the momentum into next season for his new club, we should be at a stage now where we say enough is enough, you're either with us or you don't play but we are still pandering to him.
